Canada’s Ten Provinces In Canada Quebec is a highly populated province. To begin, the population in Quebec is 7,432,005. Many industries for this province is manufacturing, electric power, mining, pulp and paper, and transportation equipment. The major cities are Toronto, Ontario, and Montreal. Quebec is located on the other end of the bridge. The other fertile region is located in the southern side of Quebec near the American border. The name Quebec means Algonquin Ward meaning where the river narrows originally referred to the area around Quebec city. One fun fact about Quebec is that the border between Ontario and itself is the Ottawa River.

The main cities is Winnipeg, Brandon, Steinbach, Thompson, and Winkler. They have dry climates and temperatures get really hot in the summers. One fun fact is that the bear Winnie the Pooh was named after his hometown (Manitoba).
New Brunswick is located on the east coast of Canada. It is also named after the town Saxony. The population is 753,914. The climate there is warm in summers and cold for winters. Main industries are mining, forestry, manufacturing, building, transportation, and products. Main cities are Bathurest, Combelltan, Deppe, and Edmundston. One fun fact is that since they have lots of oceans they have the wildest tides in the world.

Nova Scotia is populated as 942,926. Main industries are Fishing, Mining, Forestry, and Natural Gas. Their climates are usually mid temperature and humid. Major cities are Cape Breton, Halifax, Kentville, and New Glasgow. The name Nova Scotia means “New Scotland”. Its located in the eastern side. One fun fact is that Halifax is the capital of Nova Scotia.
