Ancient Egypt was civilization they had the seven indicators. Some of the seven indicators are (Government,Religion,Skills and Jobs,Social Classes,Social Classes,Record Keeping,Cities. Throughout my research the three indicators that I chose where Government ,Religion ,Trade. My Research shows that Ancient Egypt was a civilization because of the 7 indicators.
Government, Government is one of the seven indicators the first on my list. In the article, I said that the most powerful in Egypt is the (pharaoh). The pharaoh was the leader. Ancient Egypt was a captivating and intricate civilization. Over the years, historians have found it easier to study this civilization, rather than other historical civilizations, because the Egyptians went through great lengths to record their history. Besides being decent record keepers, they were very religious, and “ahead of their time,” due to their technological and economic breakthroughs. Because of the aspects of this culture, it has to be one of the greatest civilizations of the world.
Egypt was among one of the large ancient civilizations in its time. It lasted around thirty centuries from its start to its fall to Alexander the Great (History.com). Over this thirty century period the civilization saw many different rulers and many different eras including the Old Kingdom, the Middle Kingdom, the New Kingdom, and the Late period (Sayre 65-90). The Pharaoh had the most power out of all the people in Ancient Egypt. The Pharaoh was the leader of most all things in Ancient Egypt. For example, the Pharaoh was the religious and political leader of the Egyptian people. One interesting fact about the Pharaoh is that they held titles like these, ‘Lord of the Two Lands’ and ‘High Priest of Every Temple’.
He ruled either the upper half or lower half of egypt. The pharaoh was very powerful. Pharaohs were considered as gods! The pharaohs were a big part of government in egypt. Different crowns represent what the pharaoh rules.
Ancient Egypt was a civilization because it had all of the five indicators. It had the indicators because they started hunting and gathering near the Nile River in ancient Egypt. Then they started to settle and then more people came which meant they need more production of food and other resources than with produce they could support more and start trading.

In Egypt, everything was controlled by the pharaoh. The pharaoh was not only the leader but a divine being, representing gods on earth. The pharaoh controlled the upper and lower part of ancient egypt. One of the Pharaohs titles was Lord of the two lands, and Highest priest of every temple. The Pharaoh couldn't run the government all by himself, so the Visors helped him. Most of the Pharaoh officials were priests and scribes. The scribes were important because they ket record of taxes and finances.

In the beginning, we were hunters and gathers. Then, we started settling and farming. Our population started rising, so we needed more food to live. We put ourselves at river valleys to have water; Egypt ended up at the Nile river valley. Over time they developed the seven indicators of a great civilization: Well Organized Government, Complex Religion, Specialized Skills and Jobs, Social Classes, Long Distance Trade, Methods of Keeping Records, and Cities. This is how Ancient Egypt became a great, complex civilization because it shows all of the seven indicators.
The first indicator is government. The leader and the most powerful of upper and lower Egypt was the Pharaoh. He was the political and religious leader of the Egyptians. The Pharaoh held two titles, one being Lord of the Two Lands because he ruled upper and lower Egypt. The other one was High Priest of Every Temple he held this title because the Pharaoh represented the gods on earth.
Egypt was a complex civilization because it had all of the important civilization indicators. Egypt was a smart resourceful they had strong beliefs. Under the rule of the Pharaoh, they build an empire and even now a thousand year later it is still one of the greatest civilization in history.

I believe Ancient Egypt in a civilization because it has all seven indicators! It has Complex religion, social classes, specialized workers such as craftsmen & artisans, organized government, long-distance trade, cities & methods of record keeping.
Ancient Egypt was a civilization in north east Africa along the Nile River, it was one of six civilizations to rise independently. The history of ancient Egypt occurred in kingdoms and was part of the Bronze Age. Success of ancient Egypt civilization came partly from ability to adapt to conditions of the Nile River for agriculture. Ancient Egypt was a hierarchy that had a bureaucracy government and were a polytheistic religion. As well, their economy was based on their surroundings and they had many great achievements.
