During the interview my former English teacher also spoke about responsibility, he said, “Part of being a teacher is bringing work home” (Kelly). Teachers are constantly surrounded by assignments, that need to be graded, which means that they are constantly working even when they are not physically inside a classroom setting. Therefore, it is important for a teacher to have a strong worth ethic. When I interviewed the student’s one of the students said that a great teacher needs to be responsible. Responsibility plays a huge role, when it comes to being an efficient teacher. When I asked the student to elaborate on what he meant by responsibility he spoke about how teachers should respond to emails throughout the day. As Mr. Kelly mentioned, part of being a teacher means bringing work home. I also asked my former teachers, why they decided to go into the teaching profession. Mrs. Alvarez spoke about how growing up she always wanted to become a teacher. It was something that she always pictured for herself. Her response show’s how passionate she is about teaching, and it is one of the reasons why she is an amazing educator. Mr. Kelly, would always tell us interesting anecdotes, and one of them was about his childhood, and how he always enjoyed literature. He had passion, and eventually he felt like he found his calling. Both of them wanted this ever since they were young. Once I found out why my former teachers chose to go into the teaching field, I decided to ask them
“Why do you want to teach?” This infamous question is a pivotal one that I have been asked countless times during my collegiate years. Since youth, my parents’ way of life has inspired me to become a teacher. My father was never properly educated. Rather than going to school full-time, he decided to work to help my grandmother financially. Although he did attend school a few days a week, he never had the support of teachers or family to make education a priority. As a result, he grew up illiterate and lacking the essential skills of reading and writing. The fact that my father never received proper education and lacked a solid supportive learning environment has inspired me to pursue a career in education. I would like to help change the way students easily throw in the towel at school due to family burdens and social circumstances. My mom also inspired me to become a teacher because her career field exposed me to younger children and birthed a love for giving, helping, and motivating children to explore. My mother owned several preschools since I was seven years old. I grew up interacting with a variety of children that attended her
This essay contemplates my individual development, skill acquisition and exploration of teaching approaches; throughout and beyond the International Teacher Training Organisation (ITTO) program. The problems I encountered will be discussed; and their relation to establishing where my wealth of primary teaching experience aligns with English as a Foreign Language (EFL) teaching approaches. For example; efforts to reduce my teacher talk time compared to primary school education was important, correcting pronunciation in an appropriate manner and correctly pacing both my speech and activities were areas of development that were observed, reflected on personally and subsequently acted upon.

I 've chosen the path to becoming a teacher for several reasons. To begin with, as a high school student I was very lucky to have a handful of amazing teachers and coaches who helped me as well as inspired me to become
My desire to teach really derives from those who really connected me with the love for educating others. The connection I made with my fourth grade teacher really encouraged me to seek a change for the better in my life and help others do the same. For she turned out to be one of my best friends who would watch out and made sure to tell me when something was not quite right with me. The connection I had with her made me feel like I was a part of her family, and could do anything with her support. The way she always had time to listen to my drama or play games with my friends and I created this idea that maybe I could be that person for other kids. In the fourth grade I had just moved from a very different demographic of kids, only had a few
Q.3: speak about the roles adopted by the teacher in classrooms. What other roles does the teacher play in the community?
When it comes to my reasoning for entering the teaching profession, I think it stems from my own experiences within American schools. I have had profound teachers who have inspired and motivated me to continue to work towards preserving the ideas and beliefs that strengthen education. On the other hand, I have had subpar teachers who have influenced me to teach for alternate reasons. They have shown me that reform and change are needed to bring our education system back to the top, and I would love nothing more than to play a role in that transformation. While they may be contradicting ideas, the great, and the not so great, teachers in my past have pushed me to enter the teaching profession.
Review what your role, responsibilities and boundaries as a teacher would be in terms of the teaching/training cycle

The reason I want to become a teacher is the total opposite of the teachers interviewed. I never had a teacher that left a lasting impression on my life. I had no on to mentor me as I chose to become a teacher. I became a teacher because after a few industrial accidents left me unable do anything physical for a very long time. While I was looking for something I could do. A bus driving passion came open. So I became a bus driver. As I was driving the position of a substitute teacher open I became a substitute teacher because it paid two dollars more an hour. That was as a substitute teacher that and working with the student that made me decided to become a teacher full time. Watching students struggle with their work, being able to show them how to do it correctly, and having the opportunity to see the “ahh” factor. Being able to help students learn and see them as they learned is one of the greatest experiences I had in my life time. The decision to become a
Teachers act as role models to their students in hopes of inspiring them to greatness. As a future educator, I may be the only person in my students’ lives who teaches them the importance of hard work and good character. This is why it’s essential for me to build a positive rapport with every child. I want to teach them to be caring and compassionate members of society. By being a moral teacher, I will positively impact the moral development of my students. My goal is to help each student learn to be a better version of themselves by the time they leave my classroom.
For all of my life I have been indecisive on what I want to do with my life. The one constant in what I want to do is that I want to help people. Lately what has frequently come to my mind is becoming a high school teacher because of how it plays an extremely valuable role in our society. What I want to do in my life is to be able to help guide young teenagers into the real world smoothly so they can move our society in a positive direction.
A1. A teacher’s profession is to impart knowledge to the best of their ability as well as meet the State standards that are the guidelines for what the students need to be learning. In my state of Arkansas, those standards are Common Core.
It was not until my last year of high school when I finally decided on becoming a elementary school teacher. I had taken one of those “What should you choose as your career?” tests going into junior year and number one on the list was Teacher. Although it was a more professional than something like a personality quiz on Buzzfeed, I still treated it like one. The thought of becoming a teacher was vile to me based on all my knowledge of stereotypes that I had heard growing up, such as bad pay and hating their job. My mom and everyone around me wanted me to be a doctor or lawyer. They wanted a well-respected job for me and not a “glorified babysitter”. Then one day I was taking a college tour of Dixie State University and they had a school with a playground on campus. It was part of the school they had on campus that children would come to so that the future teachers can get on-campus experience. In that moment I thought back to elementary school to my favorite teacher from kindergarten, Ms. Lee, and remembered how much I loved elementary school. How everything amazed me because I was just an empty head (well, not entirely) waiting to be filled with the knowledge of the world.
The role of an elementary school teacher is an important role because they are one of the first role models that young children can look up to. They are the first few individuals that have the opportunity to shape a child’s life, and they may sometimes inspire their students to follow up in their footsteps. To begin with, the general duties of an elementary school teacher is to create daily lesson plans and instruct students on subjects such as science, literature, and math. More specific job duties would be to manage the student behavior in the classroom, create a positive learning environment for their students, grade papers, work with other staff members, and teachers must be responsible for their students’ health and safety.
