Space Trip
It is the day August 27, 2055 and it is the time to do the impossible have a human on Mars. There are 4 courageous, brave, smart people that is going to Mars. The first person that is going to Mars is a Botanist named Brady Jones. After Brady there is Victor Brown, who is an astrologist. Then Sean Jennings, who is one of the best pilots to ever live. Last but not least Jasmine Taylor, the only girl of the group who was an engineer for anything that flies. This is the Mars team and they have to work together and trust each other. The group has only known each other for a couple of months training with each other and getting used to how everybody does things.

10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, BLAST OFF!!! They were flying straight into the sky going about what feels like the speed of light! They were going so fast that it almost made Victor throw up. Once they got into space they were all so happy and glad that they made it to space. The ride to go to Mars will be 3 years, so they will have enough time to enjoy zero gravity in space.
It has been two years since they have left the earth and they are all bored. It is a lot more boring in space than they thought. But then they think that they saw the most beautiful sight that they have ever seen. It was Mars. It was way redder than the pictures that they have seen in their life. They just thought about it and soaked it all in. They knew that this is what they have been working for their whole life. But then suddenly a small asteroid hit the spaceship and it shook the whole ship. They knew that this is going to be trouble. They found out that there was a small hole in the side of the space ship. But even a hole that small could still kill all of them so they needed to act quickly. Jasmine knew that out of all of them, she was the only one that can fix it. It will be very difficult to fix but Jasmine knew that she is the best for the job. Jasmine couldn’t fix the small hole from the inside of the space ship. One of the contributing factors to the project failure is lack of management. The Chief Information Officer, Art Smith, is a former plumbing supplier who is not very tech savvy assigned the MARs project to Kate Cohen. Kate, a programmer, had no prior project management experience. Kate is knowledgeable in computer systems, but lacked the leadership and management skills required to drive this project. When implementing a systems change at a scale this large, the project needs experienced management and proper planning. These characteristics were not accounted for when Art appointed Kate as Project Manager.

On the Apollo 11 mission, Neil Armstrong said, “That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.” He was the first astronaut to walk on the moon and this event was a significant point in history for space exploration. Now from the success of the Apollo 11 mission, astronauts will travel to Mars during the 2030’s and I want to take part in the excursion to the Red Planet. Tristan’s long-term dream to traverse space becomes a reality when he is chosen to pilot a crew of eighty Alliance personnel on a space ship to Mars. “We seldom see in the night sky the dramas that pass us by.” The trip to the red planet leads him on a dangerous and taxing pursuit to make the first claim on ‘treasures’ still buried in the Martian soil: that could steer him, and his team members on to ground breaking discoveries of the century! Due to the painfully long duration of the trip to Mars, the crew is expected to swap roommates every twenty-eight days, this according to Admiral Thomas Booth has to do with “primordial body rhythms and lunar timing” thus is deemed necessary as it will help build anticipation and contest boredom amongst the crew. This, however, leads to an interesting turn of events. The team still finds that the odds are stacked against them. What with the hazards of space threatening their livelihoods and mission, will they all make it to Mars alive?
One large project that is being pursued is colonizing mars with a human population. This will mold the future and newer generations. It can make us question the future and what lies ahead. It has been said that it will take no more than 50 years to fulfill the colonization of mars.
As Humans begin to solve more mysteries in the universe and in our solar system, we begin venturing farther into the unknown. We are only a decade or two away from landing the first human on Mars. With a first of a kind mission, comes many challenges. Not only are there great economic and technical challenges that come from such a manned mission, but also, how will the human body react to such a long mission from Earth to Mars and then back again?
Ultimately, Mars One's mission is to establish a permanent human colony on the planet by 2027. And who will man or woman this mission? Well people like you or me. NASA is panning to complete a man-based mission to Mars in the future due to the similarities is has with Earth. There is evidence, that in the past Mars had surface water and possible some sort of life form. In order to complete a man based mission to Mars, NASA has begun taking the many different steps in order to complete a successful mission. NASA has a three Phase Journey they have come up with in order to get to Mars.
Plans to discover more about the space have been underway since the first trip to the space was made. Currently, plans to inhabit and make a living from the planet Mars are exiting each and every ear. By 2032, man will travel to Mars. But the journey there will not be an easy one. The Marsonauts will be forced to deal with the perils of long term space travel including sickness, bone loss, sleep deprivation, and depression. But luckily, the future technology will prepare the Marsonauts by providing the solutions to these issues such as antibiotics, supplements, exercise regimes, computer programs for depression, and sun-mimicking light bulbs. But these will not be the only problems they encounter. Radiation, fuel, food, water, and space weather will challenge our heroes and push them to their limits. The Marsonauts will see firsthand why it is that Mars is a barren, lifeless planet. But it will all be worthwhile for the progression of mankind. The weekend of January 16th to the 19th of 1965 will forever go down as a monumental event. Space travel is a propelled trip outside our planet. This trip will be either by a spacecraft that contains human inside it or just a controllable spacecraft so engineers or whoever works in the earth station can control this spacecraft. We do space travel because we want to discover more about the universe like how it started and where did our planet come from and if we are by our own or there are other creatures living somewhere else in the universe.
