Freedom, independence, and liberty are all amazing things, but they all come at a cost. People are being asked to sacrifice to get freedom, one of the best words a man can speak. Many of countries do not have any freedom at all. In some countries if you say something the leader does not agree with you could be executed or thrown in jail. In America, we have freedom of speech and can say whatever is on our mind without being prosecuted. We must keep fighting for our rights every single day or someone could come in and take it all away.

Without these freedoms America wouldn't have the same civilization as we do now. Just think at all the technology we have made and we are still making more, all the cool the things we have figured about the world and the US. Just thinking about it makes me gasp. We half to give a lot of credit to our veterans because without them who would fight for our rights. Without the military America wouldn't be where we are today and we wouldn't have the same technology or even half the things we have now.
