Noe avitia Mrs Pollart Ela 8b 9 May 2024 The Outsiders Quotes. In Chapter 9 of the Outsiders, Dally and Ponyboy headed back to the hospital after a recent rumble that had taken place which led to them winning and wanting to check up on Johnny. They went to the hospital but were soon stopped by some workers, the doctor said. “I’m sorry, boys, but he’s dying.” Then Dally begins to speak after he has heard the doctor say about him dying. “We gotta see him,” and once he had said this he had pulled out a switchblade to try and force them in there to see Johnny. I find this quote important because it shows the things they’ll do for Johnny, for his brother/family. They obviously cared a lot about him and since they just rushed to see him after

The Community seems to have a simple lifestyle. 1)”Since the first day in the Annex room, they had together disregarded the rules about rudeness, and Jonas felt comfortable with that now.” (A Quote from page 99).This quote explains that the society did not need to worry about rudenees, therefore were happy about and never were hurt. 2)“All right ,” The Giver said after a moment , “I’ve decided. At the beginning of the novel, Toby is portrayed as a young boy struggling to find his personal identity. We see many different versions of him; the compassionate son, the honorable boy scout, and the criminal. He has many different ideas about who he wants to be and who he should be, but he stays in a state of depression and denial so that he does not have to face his fears of rejection. He desperately seeks others’ approval, but he cannot please everyone. This drives him to act in multiple different ways. When he hangs out with his friends from school, he smokes, steals, and drinks, all in an attempt to fit in and seem cool. When he writes letters to his pen pals, he makes up false stories about himself to seem more impressive. When he moved
"Motorcycle Diaries" is a fascinating memoir that describes the crucial trip around South America in the early 1950s that teenage Ernesto "Che" Guevara and his friend Alberto Granado took. Their journey, which begins in Buenos Aires and lasts for several months, is detailed in the book. They travel thousands of miles on an abandoned Norton 500 motorcycle they like and refer to as "La Poderosa" (The Mighty One). Guevara and Granado come across a wide range of people and places on their journey, from the thriving cities of Peru to the poor indigenous towns of Chile. Guevara develops a strong sense of empathy and social consciousness as a result of seeing firsthand the injustices and inequalities that are fueled by socioeconomic differences as they travel the continent.
Inside this book, you will find all moments and feelings that I recall from our lives together. Many were dense, very filled days. Yet, some others were very specific and swift to be recalled. It was quite the task to weed through all of it and generate you with a detailed, chronological(or attempted to be) list of the first year and 5 months of Tyler Webb and Elizabeth Stanford. Where should our story begin?

While not exactly a single brand, one example of manufacturing cost being below the price is “brand named” drugs. Companies have been successful in charging high prices because many doctors or pharmacists recommend these drugs over the generic drugs for a variety of reasons. These reasons include, instances where the company is the only one making the drug and they can literally charge whatever they want (Johnson, 2015). In other cases, there is little or no price control authority, so the manufacturer is free to make a price. Some markets are so small that the company may be the only supplier of that particular drug giving it an instant monopoly (Lupkin, 2016).
The endless stream of abusive comments swamps my phone. Why doesn’t Rita defend herself against Tyler’s texts? It is as if she were a timid mouse and Tyler were a vicious cat. Rita would never pass up a moment to attack her arch enemy, Tyler. It’s so unlike her. Ding! I glance at the text Tyler just posted. I read the text: “You will pay for your actions!” Ding, ding! “It won’t matter if you go and kill yourself. No one will notice because you’re a loser.” How dare Tyler insult Rita, my best friend!
