The Origins of Soccer
Evolution has acted as the forefront of the game of soccer due to the exponential growth it has endured through the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Contributions to this commercial epidemic consist of the robust foundation in which a multitude of cultures have bestowed upon the game. These cultures have formulated, in some manner, an invaluable rudimentary configuration of the game. Despite the innumerable aspects of the game of soccer, one is present within all, healthy competition. As time will tell, in accordance with the evolution of the game, physical exercise will become an essential aspect of human life and growth, illustrating the importance and value of athletics and recreation.
The origins of soccer can be traced back to a myriad of cultures. These cultures each contributed to the construction and development of the game in their own unique way, therefore generating a multi-cultural blending constitution. The forebear of these civilizations is the Han Dynasty of China, the second great Chinese imperial dynasty (“Han Dynasty”), who founded the “Tsu’ Chu” (“History of Football”). The epithet derives from the Chinese terms “tsu”, to kick a ball with feet, and “chu”, a ball made of leather (Reilly).
