The Origins of Soccer
Evolution has acted as the forefront of the game of soccer due to the exponential growth it has endured through the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Contributions to this commercial epidemic consist of the robust foundation in which a multitude of cultures have bestowed upon the game. These cultures have formulated, in some manner, an invaluable rudimentary configuration of the game. Despite the innumerable aspects of the game of soccer, one is present within all, healthy competition. As time will tell, in accordance with the evolution of the game, physical exercise will become an essential aspect of human life and growth, illustrating the importance and value of athletics and recreation.
The origins of soccer can be traced back to a myriad of cultures. These cultures each contributed to the construction and development of the game in their own unique way, therefore generating a multi-cultural blending constitution. The forebear of these civilizations is the Han Dynasty of China, the second great Chinese imperial dynasty (“Han Dynasty”), who founded the “Tsu’ Chu” (“History of Football”). The epithet derives from the Chinese terms “tsu”, to kick a ball with feet, and “chu”, a ball made of leather (Reilly). This variant consisted of a competition between two teams who vigorously worked to get the leather ball through the opposing team’s net. The nets used consisted of “silken cloth
Soccer, or football to most of the world, has been one of the oldest sports in the history of the world. It is by far the most viewed, played, and biggest attendance sport throughout the countries, with the exception of the USA. Being the biggest sport in the world means having the biggest fan base as well. This sport has become as close to many fans hearts just as the bible can change people who read it. In this paper, the reader will understand how soccer has changed throughout the years, what the ideals of a unified code are in this sport, as well as the differences and similarities between youth and professional.
Although looking at a younger and an inferiorly qualified group of athletes could change the results of the study, younger soccer athletes play with a reduced aggression on the field. This lack of offensive drive ultimately reduces their chances of sustaining serious injuries. With little chance of serious injury, supplying or asking the young athletes or their parents to purchase protective headgear, on top of the existing costs of the sport, is unnecessary (Niedfeldt). In an effort to ease the minds of concerned individuals on the use of protective headgear among younger, less experienced athletes, players should take precautions in the form of alternatives.
Franklin Foer the author of How Soccer Explains the World: An Unlikely Theory of Globalization is an important contributor of the small topic of the how soccer is related to the world. Foer from the New Republic who writes from time to time in the well known newspaper of the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal had traveled around the world especially the continent of Europe, Asia, North and South America. Going from the topic of why the Islam religion, Islamic law, and religious paramilitary militia prohibits the passionate, die-hard Islamic women fans; from attending and/or watching soccer games and then partying hard like the men after the game if their country or favorite club wins. To the topic of how America relates to soccer
Soccer and Football have long been high class sports with ample amount of respect and dignity, groomed through history. Regulations and guidelines have been set in stone and shifted throughout the course of competition. Safety is key in both recreational sports and has become essential for the protection of the people that participate. Stylistically the two sports contain a different overall goal, however the techniques vary. From a beginners point of view the sports seem derived from a primary source, however in the overall scheme they differentiate through many different loop holes. These differences will be depicted throughout the essay, allowing the reader to grasp a better understanding of the sports as a whole. In reality soccer and football are extremely similar, yet diverse in many ways.
Soccer is a growing sport in the United States. The amount of people that are playing soccer continues to grow. Kids, teens, and adults of all shapes and sizes are developing their skills. These people have or will create their own individual playstyles that are unique to them. Although these styles are unique to each player, they will fall in to categories with other players.

Brazil as a whole, contains a wide variety of distinguishing factors that contribute to its rich culture and that makes it unique, savory and incredibly interesting to learn about. From Carnival to different religious beliefs to soccer and all kinds of different music, Brazil stands out of the crowd for being original. When it comes to “Futebol” as it is called in Brazil or soccer as it is said in the United States, the Brazilian soccer team came to be and had one as a player the greatest in not just Brazil but in the greatest team and player the world has known.
1. Soccer is one of the most demanding of all sports. The game is played on one of the largest fields of any sport, for the longest sustained time and with the least amount of breaks. Players in a soccer team are in continuous activity as they compete for loose balls, move to encourage teammates, rotate positions and run to make a space or test opponents. Running, jumping, sprinting movements in relation with sudden changes of acceleration and route outweigh the play. The power of the game ranges between low-level activities such as walking or jogging to ones of high intensity such as sprinting . This is what is known as intermittent exercise. The rhythm of soccer is dynamic and constantly changing, which is a characteristic that divides it from other endurance sports , this suggests that in order for a midfielder to successfully endure for the entire 90 minutes all three energy systems assist in different stages although the ATP/PC system is dominant.
Soccer is one of the greatest and most viewed sport of all time because it is an animalistic sport. All you need to play is two goal points, an open field, and a ball of any form. A countless number people all over the world, including me, have a strong passion for soccer because it is not only exciting but also emotional once someone gets to see their favorite soccer player succeed. The three main reasons to why soccer is the greatest sport to be invented is its benefits towards one’s health, it improves cooperation between each member of a team, and it increases your coordination and social skills. One large benefit of soccer is that it intensifies muscular and cardiovascular endurance.
Soccer originated with kicking games played by people in ancient civilizations. The modern version came about in the early nineteenth century, in England. It started as a game involving kicking and handing, but later this branched off into two separate sports: rugby and football (which is what the English call soccer). Around
Out of the sports I do follow, Soccer has to be the one I'm most comfortable with. From what I know, however is that Soccer, especially the FIFA portion of it is highly controversial. With all the money, time, and political power that get poured into FIFA, hearing that it's involved in a scandal doesn't surprise me.
“Soccer is god’s gift to humanity”. – (Pele) fascinating words from a world class soccer player if not one of the world’s greatest soccer player to ever play this spectacular sport. Call it however you want to soccer, football, or even fútbol but there is one thing that is certainly true soccer is the sport of the entire world. It has an interesting history, it brings everyone together for 90 minutes, the sport is recognized as the beautiful game, and it’s considered a religion by some people, and math plays a role in soccer.

Football is one of America’s most popular sports and has been for years. A vast number of people watch football every Saturday or Sunday to chant and root on their favorite home team. Out of all of the football fans across the world, about only half of them really know the true history of this beautiful game. Many sports today is just another part of someone’s daily life, it is easy to forget that just over 120 years ago, a majority of the sports that we take for granted were not even in existence. The history of the modern sports details is an evolution, from games being first played for entertainment to a business battling one another in power and size. Football, in particular, the National Football League, has been around for over one-hundred years having resulted in many changes for the sport on how it is played and perceived in the popular eye because of new and improved equipment, the introduction of the instant replay, the creation of the passing game, the no huddle offense, referees communicating through wireless devices, and through the efforts to increase player safety.
Football, futbol, soccer, the beautiful game as Pele calls it, or whatever you call it, is the most popular sport in the world. Though it is ultra popular, that doesn’t mean that you know the rules, history, or popularity of the sport, and that is when this paper proves useful. I am going to inform you about soccer’s history, popularity around the world, necessary equipment, and rules.
