I am excited to be one of the candidates for the 2017-2018 National Junior Honor Society. I understand that the National Junior Honor Society is for students who demonstrate exemplary scholarship, citizenship, service, leadership, and character. I believe that I have maintained a grade point average of 3.55 or higher and have shown all of the five given standards of the National Junior Honor Society. The National Junior Honor Society is one of the first stepping stones to becoming a remarkable leader and citizen in my community. I have had many opportunities throughout my life to participate in my community, be it through my church, swim team , or other groups. But I truly believe that I am not a perfect citizen. I have many lengths to strive for to become the person I would like to be. NJHS will help me on my path to becoming a leader by giving me opportunities to work with people who see the world the way I do. Who see the world as full of opportunity, most of it untapped. Full of people that struggle for food, or are being crushed with work. I would like to change this , and NJHS will help me achieve my vision.
Simply being invited to become a member of the National Honor Society is a privilege. It’s not necessarily surprising to me that I was invited but rather gives me an exhilarating feeling. A part of me now knows that my sedulous efforts have finally paid off. Throughout my high school career so far I’ve exhibited the four pillars, which are scholarship, leadership, character, and service. This organization administers a plethora of opportunities that has an impact on the students and the lives of others especially. To be accepted into the National Honor Society would motivate me to contribute even more to not only our school but also the community.
I really think that I am very qualified for National Junior Honor Society. I have seen students of NJHS making things for the community and I always join or support them because I think that helping others is a need, not an option. I like helping people, I like taking leadership and I would like to encourage others to change the world, that’s why I think that I am eligible for NJHS.
I believe I would be a valuable member of the National Junior Honor Society because I meet many of the four pillars, scholarship, service, leadership, and character, which NJHS represents. I partake in many after extra-curricular activities such as, rec soccer, rec cheer leading, TAG, the middle school musical, district band, after school volunteering, and in the student government; service. For leadership I am in the student government for my class. My grades have never been lower than honors, and the previous marking period and this marking period I have retained high honors. I believe that I am a well-rounded person and very encouraging and helpful
I believe that National Junior Honors Society can use an excellent student such as myself. Many of my teachers say that I am a hard worker with an amazing attitude. In sixth grade I attended Cambridge Academy and was elected President of my school, even though it was my first year there. I encouraged classmates by competing with them to see who gets the better grade. During my time of presidency I read the morning announcements. At assemblies I led the pledge of allegiance. Student council and I volunteered at the United Food Bank and helped sort food. Finally, I helped organize school activities and dances. I enjoy playing most sports. During sport activities I am often elected captain. Last year I was on the football team and even if we
Over the past two years (2014-2016) I have participated in the National Junior Honors Society. As a member, I commit to completing community service and to learning among my peers in order to develop into a superior leader. I have taken part in activities such as fundraisers, team building activities, and several forms of community services such as working in a soup kitchen, daycares and organizing social events. Recently, I volunteered for a week as a vendor at a temple in Tacoma, raising money for the establishment during the Cambodian New Year festival.
On behalf of Beaufort Middle School, myself, Dr. Tomon and The Faculty Council we congratulate you and your student on being selected for membership to the Beaufort Middle School Chapter of the National Junior Honor Society. They do their best to provide positive role models for their peers.
First, I believe I have great scholarship attributes because I have been able to maintain a grade point average of 3.5 or higher this whole year, while being in all honor classes and being in a 10th grade math class. During the first trimester, I was able to have straight A's and only one A- while the rest were A and one A+. I have good character because I respect all my peers and teachers. I also have not received a detention this year and very few white slips for arriving late to school. Lastly, I am very responsible and try to get all my work done days before it's due which is illustrated by not having a late or missing assignment. Finishing this assignment five days before the due date proves my commitment to my work. The final characteristic is citizenship. I believe I am a good citizen because I have had very few, if not any minor school infractions this year and no major school
First of all, I would like to thank you for taking me into consideration as a nominee for the National Honor Society of Coolidge High School
The National Honors Society allows students to be build and create traits that are essential in a successful adult. Having previously held a officer role in the National Junior Honor Society I have gained experience
National Junior Honor Society will be a great opportunity for me. If I am accepted into NJHS I plan on keeping up my 4.0 average, balancing between school and outside of school activities, continuing to help my community/peers, and creating a specific idea to make a positive impact at the school. The next 3 paragraphs I will be stating why I will be a great member of NJHS, why it's good to help people, and something I could do to positively impact my school.
It is truly an honor to be recognized by National Junior Honor Society. I realize it will take so much more than fantastic grades to be a part of NJHS. It will require tremendous commitment, determination, and a significant amount of time. I honestly believe that an NJHS member should always feel the need to always help others. The volunteer spirit should not only be shown in the community, but at home, church, and in school.
quote by John F. Kennedy, thirty-fifth president of the United States, shows that the National Junior Honor Society could do a great deal for me as a person, but I can contribute a great deal to this society as one of its members. I believe that I would be a substantial member of NJHS. I would enjoy an opportunity to be a part of this society. Also, I have characteristics that potential National a Junior Honor Society member would possess.
