He arrives in the Glade with no knowledge of who he is or was. He only remembers his name and nothing else about his life. Thomas proves to be brave, loyal, and clever, with isolated telepathic powers and a very limited memory of previous knowledge of the Maze. Soon after arriving in the Glade, Thomas makes both friends and enemies and proves a leader among the boys.He will also guide the others among his thoughts and visions he has throughout the story,Thomas will help his friends make it through the Maze without getting hurt and in trouble.I find Thomas interesting because his mind is so visual its like you can see what he is thinking at times he's upset or down,he claims he cannot remember what happened a long time ago but he has weird visions about what happened and once he showed up many people didn't like him but he is now their leader and true friend.Alby is the leader of the Gladers, Alby has authority over much of what goes on in the Glade.Newt is a tall, muscular boy with long blonde hair who operates as second in command in the Glade.Chuck is awkward and one of the youngest Gladers. He is talkative, innocent and naive, and though he is also annoying at times Thomas comes to see Chuck as a friend and even as a sort of younger brother.Teresa was also one of the 2nd main characters she is a teenage girl who mysteriously arrives in the Glade the day after Thomas. She tells everyone that everything is

In The Maze Runner, Thomas described him as a fifteen year old who was tall and skinny with black hair, green eyes, and a nose that was the size of a small fist that resembled a deformed potato. His voice was described as being scratchy. He is also at most times, quick to anger.
In conclusion, the character T.J. plainly displays several qualities that set him apart from his companions. His exceptional knowledge of the world and of how to relate to people is indisputable in his capability to plan and devise the roof garden and stipulate with the other boys on the preferred crops. Correspondingly, he acts with a quick wit when
The character Thomas in The Maze Runner arrives at a mysterious place called the Glade where his life changes forever. Thomas is a determined and brave individual because of his actions performed throughout the book. Thomas does what needs to be and avoids wasting time.
In chapter three is when Thomas first meets Chuck."Thomas turned to his right to see a kid standing nearby, short, pudgy, staring at him. He was young- probably the youngest of any in the group he'd seen so far, maybe twelve or thirteen years old." (Chapter 3, p. 13)This show how young he is in the story. With how young he is people think he is weak and not good for anything but cleaning. It helps his personality because it shows how young and innocent he really is.
They had been friends for a while, going on about two years, but this was the year we really connected. We all had our specific roles in our “Squad” Amber was the one who kept us all on track, who knew exactly what was going on, and she always did well in anything she tried. She was definitely the anchor. Thomas was the one who could keep things light, and make anyone laugh in any situation. He could also be very innovative about how your were feeling, and knew exactly what to say to take the edge off of anything. Eliza could make everyday special, make it stand out from the blurr of the years.
Alby is a dynamic character in the story the Maze Runner. The drastic changes that Alby went through after the Changing are clearly apparent. He is the dynamic character because in the beginning of the story he is nice and also strict and is a leader that manages the Glade. After getting stung by the griever and going through the Changing he becomes very different. He doesn’t want to be the leader and he becomes depressed, crazy and acts differently. It seems like he becomes a whole new person.
In the beginning, the main character, Thomas, has his memory wiped so he doesn’t know anything. Over time though, he begins to accept where he is (the Glade) and that the people in the Glade have nothing but each other. Thomas also adapts to the Glade’s slang, and talks like a Glader. He also saves the lives of some Gladers who are his friends, such as Alby. At the end Thomas became a sort of leader, trying to make the best decisions when the rest of the Gladers didn’t know what to do. Thomas talks to the other Gladers like someone would talk to their friends or family, and Thomas does his best to help protect the Gladers. Thomas is hard and cold to the people from WICKED, as at the end one of their workers kills Chuck, one of Thomas’s
Thomas is the narrator and protagonist of the story. He arrives in the maze with no knowledge of who he is or was. He only remembers his name and nothing else about his life. Thomas proves to be brave and clever even though he only has a very limited memory of previous knowledge of the Maze. Since arriving in the maze, Thomas makes both friends and enemies and proves to be a leader among the other boys with him in the maze.
Teresa: The only female Glader of Group A who was Thomas's girlfriend. She was always been working with WICKED which causes Thomas to distrust her.

Finally, some of the main characters in the movie are changed radically. Some of the characters portrayed in the book are only briefly mentioned in the film, where most of the characters’ character traits are nullified. Unfortunately, the characters that have undergone a change are not just side characters, but also some of the main characters in the story. The three main characters that have undergone the most differences in the adaption process are; Alby, Gally and Theresa. Alby is the leader of the Glade at the moment when Thomas first appears in the story.
