The Lexus ES is a luxury sedan requiring no introduction. Now in its sixth generation, the ES line is one of two models that launched the Lexus brand in 1989 (the flagship LS is the other one) and remains Lexus’ top-selling model behind the RX SUV.
The ES line has always represented a front-wheel drive model powered by a V6 engine. Only since 2013 has a hybrid 300h variant been offered, a surprising fact to some given that nearly every other Lexus line has offered a gas-electric hybrid.
Model Year Changes
A 2017 Lexus ES 350 model was a recent weekly driver and there are several changes of note over last year. The standard equipment list now includes rain-sensing wipers and the Lexus Safety System+ package. The LSS+ features a

All models also come with a power tilt and slide moonroof.
Factory options include 18-inch alloy wheels, Bi-LED headlamps with LED daytime running lights, fog lamps and automatic high beams, and a one-touch power trunk.
Interior Features and Options
The Lexus ES is classified as a midsize luxury sedan, but it seems larger than that. This model seats five in comfort with generous amounts of head, shoulder, hip, and leg room all around. This is where the sedan’s front-wheel drive layout works to the advantage of the ES — no big drivetrain hump to interfere with leg space.
Plush and supportive bucket seats with 10-way power support are found up front. A three-place bench seat is in the second row with a pass-through to the trunk. By the way, the trunk measures 15.2 cubic feet or about average for this segment.
Standard equipment includes full power accessories; leather or imitation leather (NuLuxe) seats; wood, imitation leather, and piano black trim; an analog clock; personal lamps, puddle lights; and zoned climate control. This model also comes with a remote touch controller, a mouse-like device for controlling audio and navigation.
Tech & Safety
All models are outfitted with an eight-inch touchscreen display and are compatible with Siri Eyes Free. A rearview monitor, an eight-speaker audio
One of the most significant changes may soon appear at the marque’s apex. The LS is the first Lexus model and is also the flagship for the brand, a full-size sedan nearing the end of its fifth generation. A new model is in the planning stages, a huge hint of what that vehicle may look like was revealed at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show this fall.
Every 2016 Traverse comes with modern airbags, a rearview camera, traction/stability control, and anti-lock disc brakes. Additional safety equipment, such as industry-first Front Center Air Bag, Side Blind Zone Alert, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Forward Collision Alert and Land Departure warning, are available options created to prevent accidents and protect all
Base: The base model is a rear wheel drive vehicle that comes with a 2.7 Liter V6 engine. The basic trim package includes 17-inch alloy wheels, power accessories, a CD player with four speakers, cruise control, keyless entry, and other standard features.
The LS trim comes with equipment such as automatic headlights, keyless entry, air-conditioning, cloth upholstery, and manually adjustable front seats with power recline. Tech features are commendable, and this model gets amenities such as cruise control, Bluetooth phone connectivity, the OnStar system and a six-speaker sound system with a CD player, auxiliary audio input jack and satellite radio. Of note is that there is a 2LS subtrim that comes with an automatic transmission as standard.
The sedan also received an SS edition with both models powered by a naturally aspirated 2.4-liter engine and the SS Supercharged powered by the 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine.
Bluetooth and OnStar navigation come standard on all models. Optional trim packages include various features such as rear park assist, a USB port for electronic devices, and a luxe Pioneer audio system. Additonal convenience features such as power mirrors, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, dual climate control, and a moonroof are also available on select models.
Thanks to 25 more horsepower, the RX 350 accelerated great and the brakes were quite responsive with an almost ‘pinky-finger’ ease of steering. Another advantage is the cabin remained extremely quiet allowing little outside noise to seep in. Overall, the ride is plush and very comfortable. Speaking of safety, the RX has it with some 10 airbags, including driver knee and front passenger anti-submarine airbags, are standard. The RX also now includes a driver alertness monitor, lane-keeping and pre-collision systems, as well as radar cruise control on its list of available driving and safety aids. But on the one, rare down-side to this vehicle, the sleek, raked roof line reduces the cargo capacity, so bulkier items may not fit as well. A 3.5-liter V-6 rated at 295 horsepower and an eight-speed automatic transmission is now standard in all RX350 models. Lexus estimates the fuel economy at 20/28 mpg (city/hwy) for the front-driver, while the all-wheel-drive version is expected to return 19/26
The Cadillac Escalade has not strayed too far from what has made it popular among its fans. It has stayed true to the design and aesthetics that have made it one of the most popular SUV's available for purchase today. With the improvements made to the engine, it is now more powerful and modern than previous models, but that is the most drastic change to the latest edition of the Escalade. Cadillac has once again produced a vehicle that will incite envy and jealousy in those who are not lucky enough to be able to own one and a sense of pride and excitement in those who do own
In the realm of buying a new car? Think about what you want in a car; do you want something that can last? But you don’t you want something that you can be comfortable in? When you think comfort you think luxury. There are several luxury vehicles out there but the two I picked was the Lexus ES 350 and the Lincoln Continental. I will compare and contrast on four different aspects of these vehicles. Which they are Gas Mileage/Engine, Safety, Inside Specs, and Cost. When I compare Lexus to a Lincoln I think Lexus is better.
For the love of God, it’s over! That seventy-eight-year old, Hungarian-born bitch and foul-tempered, sharp-tongued shrew, finally got the death card. In fact, death himself rode in on that white horse, waving the proverbial black and white flag, snatching that old skeletal biddy, Crazy Ava. And I’d bet good money on the fact that several people are breathing a deep sigh of relief tonight.
Thus far, our product strategy of successively expanding our model range, from smaller cars to luxury sedans, full-sized pickup trucks, large SUVs, and crossover vehicles has proved successful. In a bid to further extend our customer base, we have established the Scion marketing group, which will develop a range of vehicles targeting young, first-time car buyers. With respect to environmental issues, Toyota’s hybrid automobile Prius, which was introduced to the North American market in 2000, has been extremely well received and development is under way to launch our next-generation hybrid car. The Company intends to
Last week the company showed the ESX3 to the press in Washington, D.C., an event which marks the achievement of the first official milestone of the 10 year-long USPartnership for a New Generation Vehicle program in which all three US car makers have now developed fuel-efficient, high mileage vehicles.

Model S, Model X, Model S, and future Model 3 are the only car models in its factory line. And in the future, they have plans to design a cheap electric car, a new sports car, and an electric truck.
Standard equipment includes cloth seats; a red accent leather package option is on the EX grade. The top trim also has a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob. All models have air conditioning and locking doors. Power windows, cruise control, and a center console with a sliding armrest and storage area are in the S and EX models.
