The King Creation Story

Samuel is thirteen years old and he lives on the edge of the British colony in Pennsylvania with his parents. There has been rumor of a fight in Lexington and Concord. Samuel is the provider for his family, he knows his way well through the forest. He was out hunting when an attack fell on his home. When he returned home Samuel was too late, the whole town was burnt to a crisp, and there were dead bodies everywhere none being his parents. Samuel quickly discovered that his parents were taken and they might be dead soon so he must find and rescue them, but he doesn’t do it alone for he meets much needed allies along the way who help him save his parents.

“The King’s Fifth” is historical adventure novel, that brings us back to the 16th century. This novel shows us the Spanish Conquest over the Aztec Empire, and Spanish exploration of the as current Southwestern part of the United States. The story begins in San Jose De Ulloa (Spanish Fort, in Veracruz) here, Esteba de Sandoval is being held for defrauding the King of his rightful fifth. As he awaits his trial, he writes down all the events that occurred during his journey into the North American Wilds in search for the Golden Cities. It was a normal day in the castle of Goranson. All the townspeople were tending to their work when an explosion made a loud sound that ran throughout the castle. Townspeople stood there shocked as the castle stood in silence. After the seconds of silence another loud explosion shook the castle followed by arrows flying throughout the castle and vikings screaming as they charge in. Everyone ran to get to safety and the vikings never followed. They only had one mission, to get the king and destroy the castle. When all the noise had stopped and all the screams were silenced the townspeople went to look outside to see that the castle was all burnt down. One farmer had said “Quick find the king”. They all rushed into various buildings only to find the king was not there.
