In all super hero movies there is always a villain who tries to come up with "Genius Plans" to take over the world , or just to break the laws. In the movie "The Dark Knight," directed by Christopher Nolan , the Joker is a villain who is insane, malevolent, and has zero regard for his life and the lives of others. I like the Joker because when he puts his mind to something he will stop at nothing until he succeeds. Another reason why i like the Joker is because i like how he can be intimidating to some people. The Joker will hurt or kill anyone who tires to get in his way , and that why i like him because he will not let things stop him from what he is trying to accomplish.
Although the Joker has a disturbing mind-set , for example, when he tests out his experiments he uses people. The Joker does not care if he causes pain to others or maybe even himself. Another thing about what makes the Joker insane is his sidekick. His sidekick , Harley Quinn, was just a regular girl who interviewed the Joker. She ended up falling in love with him , and the Joker coming up with outrageous ideas for her to prove she loved him made her fall in to a tank of acid so she can look just like him. He even wanted her to

Batman is a super hero who tries to stop the Joker from destroying the town they are in. Joker's characteristics are different from Batman's because he isn't trying to save and help people. Instead he kills people , sometimes even just for fun. On the other hand Batman tries to help anyone who is in trouble. He tries to help people who are in danger from the Joker. Batman and The Joker have totally different characteristics. That's what keeps the tension going though because some people like how The Joker is a bad guy and how he is always trying to find a way to make himself even more crazy and intimidating, and for those who like Batman they like how he tries his best to help people no matter if it means facing the
The villain of the Batman movies, television shows, and comic series, the Joker, is used to support the common stigmas and stereotypes of mental ill-health. The creators of the original 1940 DC comic, Robert "Bob" Kane and Bill Finger, used the criminal to depict exaggerations of mental ill-health disorders, reinforcing the stigma and stereotypes of mental ill-health through media. The chalky white skin, electric green hair, dark smoky eye makeup and overdrawn, blood-red lipstick start off the physical description of this antihero. The Joker is known for his extreme violent actions, extensive military-grade weapon usage, and his iconic, yet terrifying, smile. The violence displayed by the Joker seems to be a combination of three disorders.
In today’s time and age, I don’t think we will come across anyone, who is oblivious of the legendary pair of a hero and a villain; batman and the joker. Those who haven’t read the comics, must have watched at least a few of the movies that are based on these characters. Batman is seen as the hero. The joker is seen as a villain. There are a lot of variations in the stories involving these two as it has been incarnated a lot times, but their characters remain the same. The relationship between these two is a representation of “yin-and-yang”.
He is making other people fearful of him and that is what he wants. So what sets Joker apart from other villains is that he is not after the money. He is simply after the thrill of being Batman’s criminal. In the film Batman Begins, (Christopher Nolan, 2005) The alter ego of the villain Scarecrow, Jonathan Crane, who was a Jungian analyst, explained that people’s demons are often externalized, in his case,
The success of “The Dark Knight” can be attributed to one thing, the Joker. In the past there had been books and movies with psychopathic villains; antagonists with elaborate twisting plans. Heath Ledger’s Joker exhibits the true function of an antagonist in a story and he does many of the same things that Iago does in Othello.
Joker possesses no superhuman abilities, instead he uses gags and playing cards. Scarecrow is another one of Batman’s enemies. Scarecrow is a brilliant psychologist and scientist who specializes in the study of fear. He invented a gas that causes his victims to experience terrifying hallucinations and wears a mask to not effect him. Lastly, Riddler is another of Batman’s enemies.
The joker on the other hand has a different agenda, he wants to instill fear into the public and he accomplishes this goal almost all the time. One example of his evil abilities
Batman: The Dark Knight directed by Christopher Nolan is non-stop action thriller that continually did the unexpected. The film is based off of the original Batman comic book but additionally changes the perception of the everyday world as good to naturally bad. Throughout the movie, Batman stands for honesty and goodness while the Joker is a symbolism of chaos and evil. Both sides are forced to make quick-witted decisions in order to stop the opposing vigilante from doing his desired work. The citizens of Gotham are put in the heart of this circumstance and feel obligated to go against their values to stop the chaos. Numerous people habitually pursue their dreams and values but often become blinded from their
The Joker is a manipulative villain who, even though he denies it, is a schemer; his actions are taken for a specific reason, appearing disconnected, they are part of his carefully organized plot. The Joker commits mischievous, ruthless crimes that make sense to him alone.
After watching both Batman (1989) and The Dark Knight (2008), I was able to find major differences in acting styles between the two actors who played the part of “The Joker” in each film. When looking at the differences in acting styles between the both Jack Nicholson and Heath Ledger you have to understand that the directors of each film, Christopher Nolan and Tim Burton have different takes on how the film’s actors should be portrayed. The only similarities that the two Jokers have in common between two films, are that they both have the same motive of taking over Gotham City and that they both play the role of an evil villain. This is where the similarities between the two Joker’s acting styles tend to stop. Heath Ledger in the 2008 film The Dark
In the film, The Dark Knight directed by Christopher Nolan, The Joker, one of Batman's most dangerous enemies whose aim is too push Batman to his ultimate limits, to break his personal rules and strict moral code. This, being the Jokers only reason to live, he has no fear of death and pain. The Joker is characterised as a calculating and logical criminal, a rebel with minimal empathy or moral and a nemesis who commits purposeless crime. Together these characteristics are developed through specific and appropriate use of technical aspects, such as, camera movement, camera angles, props and dialogue. Together these techniques create a character who is an extraordinary to watch, as he causes chaos in Gotham City, all to get
The Joker is known for dating his previous psychiatrist, Harley Quinn. Though often idolized, this relationship is unhealthy at best. The Joker is in short, insane, and he does not treat Harley well. If I were to take the Joker’s place for a day, one of the things I would be certain to do would be to show Harley what real love is like. I would aim to show her that what she may believe is love with the Joker is in fact abuse, and would focus on detaching
There is no character who is really like no other in the world of comic book villains, and that character is the Joker. Which would be hard for a person to actually find a character who is deep and this disturbed in the world of comic book villains? The mind that originated him, Jerry Robinson, must have been a very twisted person, undoubtedly. The Joker represents a theory about existence that part of me believes that all people wish we could embrace in our own way. He is an outrageous character, the stuff he does to other people is the lowest of the lows. The Joker is also a fascinating character, with an interesting world view, which is why he is my favorite villain. He has so many characteristics that make him even more interesting, like his history, his character, and how is he portrayed.
He fell into a vat of acid as a child, which left him disfigured for life. He comes across as an insane being, but he states that he is the most sane out of anybody in the world. His goal seems to be to create a society of villains, which has almost worked before, but batman was able to stop him. The Batman and the Joker have fought against each other for as long as they've existed
When people think about the Joker and the Batman people have to think about who they choose to help them in their plans.
“Dark Knight” was a smash hit for it’s fame, explosions, and chase scenes, but what really had me on the edge of my seat was perhaps the most riveting villain I had ever seen. The Joker. The Joker is a mob-backed terrorist with suicidal tendencies and According to the DSM, the joker would be given the diagnoses of Antisocial personality disorder. He is not reasonable, he’s not afraid of anything, and the last thing he cares about in the world is himself. As Alfred explained to Bruce, “Some men just want to watch the world burn
