The Apartheid Wall One of the controversial stories in the media that has attracted my attention the most is the Israeli Palestinian conflict, which has remained unsolved for the past 6 decades. Out of the entire conflict what has drawn me in the most is the Israeli apartheid wall issue. When you look at this separation from one sides view, you immediately see things that the opposition sees the other way around. Looking at the Israeli apartheid wall I see the separation of two different groups. The groups are the Palestinians and Israelis. The Israelis, who appose the view of the wall being an Apartheid wall, tend to see the wall as a barrier to protect them from future acts of terrorism. But it isn’t really meant to separate the two groups. The width of this wall ranges from 80 to 100 meters and its length is 360 Kilometers. The Promised Land In regards to the land that God has promised Israel, Genesis 15:18 declares to Abraham, “To your descendants I give this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the Euphrates.” This wall separating the rich from poor, powerful from weak, ideology from ideology both failures of humanity.
