World War One, one of the most deadliest wars in history, caused massive damage to countries in Europe. During World War One, the technology advanced, with many creations were created, that caused a high amount of death and destruction. The U-Boat, also known as a submarine, is a underwater boat that the Germans used during World War One. The Tank was developed in World War One to help make crossing no man’s land easier. Poison gas was used in World War One as a new tactic to kill people in the trenches

During times of war, there is always an increase in the rate at which new technology is developed, and the Second World War was certainly no different. Engineers and scientists took existing technology and weaponry invented in World War One and improved upon them in order to gain an advantage against their enemy. These new technologies helped win many important battles, and carry out strategic bombings that would lead to the surrender of a key member of the war. As a result of these developments, the manner in which World War two was fought was significantly transformed, thus profoundly affecting the outcome of the war.
The 1920s often referred to as “roaring twenties” is one of the most remarkable periods because of technological advances, and scientific discoveries. Many of the inventions made during the 20s such as Insulin, Penicillin and Traffic Signals have saved numerous lives. With the invention of Vacuum Cleaner, Washing Machine, Electric Dishwasher and Refrigerator household chores have gotten much easier. Due to the advances in technology and scientific discoveries made in the 1920s, inventors and scientists today are able to study the previous work and take the invention one step farther (Inventions in the 1920s).
In the start of WWII that nations came up with many ways to communicate to each other without being intercepted by the enemy. Some ideas/inventions used during World War II included foot, mounted, motorcycle, automobile, airplane, homing pigeons, and the messenger dog. Along with physically going to deliver a message they also had made visual messages. Which included flags, panels for airplanes, lights, and pyrotechnics. But when they didn't want to use those ways to signal messages they would send the message electronically. Which included telephone, telegraph service, and the printing telegraph.
