The Industrial Revolution: Good Or Bad?

The Industrial Revolution was a very gloomy time period. There were many horrible things going on at this time. One major thing was child labor. Child labor was happening everywhere. Also the dangerous working conditions for the many workers and the long, tiring hours the people had to work in those harmful polluted factories.

The Industrial Revolution had positive outcomes of more jobs, but these new jobs brought some positives but many more negatives for the people. Child labor today is not as bad as the issue was centuries ago, but it still affects millions of children all over the world. The use of children in the work force was like putting a newborn rat in a maze and trying to make it find its own way

The Industrial Revolution is known as a time of progression and development in European nations and America. The new movement allowed the mass production of items with new inventions and factories. However, the Industrial Revolution also brought many negatives to society and its people. The need for more work and the increase in production meant that more workers were needed, and less money was being paid to workers. As a result, child labor was prominent, and greatly affected millions of children.

A good positive aspect of the late 19th century industrial boom was that having more businesses create more jobs for the people, it also allowed people to create inventions to help industry’s and regular people. Like the railroads created jobs for the new immigrants that were coming over from Ireland and China. The steel industry helped the people in pittsburgh find work to support their families. The inventions that people have created like the telephone helped both people and industries be able to talk to people from long distances.the invention of the light bulb and machines that ran on electricity was very essential to booming industries. The light bulb also let people stay up later through the day so they could work longer or stay up and read a good book. The Industrial Revolution was a huge turning point in history. How everything changed so quickly, like how fast the way people were living and how things were formed. Before people stayed in tiny villages using everything by their hands and working on agriculture. The Revolution changed it all.

The 1700’s was the beginning of the industrialization of Britain. There was an increase in productivity and abundance in material goods which lead to lower prices. Jobs were plentiful, and it was an exhilarating time of change and growth. Britain had great advantages due to access to water, fertile land and increasing population. All of these things sounds great, however there is a downside to the Industrial Revolution, and the people that suffered were the commoners. The Industrial Revolution was a curse to society do to the fact that, Britain became overpopulated, factory workers did not have adequate conditions, and it was the start of pollution.

The Industrial Revolution brought many changes to the societies that experienced the process of industrialization. Some of the changes benefited society while others caused harm to most of the society. Most affected by these changes was the working class of theses societies, in regards to the working people of the country of England they had experienced a lot of pain caused by the industrialization.

While some might debate that Industrialization had primarily negative consequences for society because of child labor, it was essentially a positive thing for society. Industrialization’s positive effects were new laws to improve working conditions, production increased, and merchandise became cheaper. There were numerous negatives that the Industrial Revolution brought with it; nonetheless the positives out-weigh it in today’s society. Because of the child labor during the Industrial Revolution today’s society currently has laws to improve the working conditions of every employee. Children are no longer able to be employed into a business or factory, nevertheless when they were able to be employed, the production of merchandise increased causing it to become cheaper. These remain just minor parts of the Industrial Revolution. The reasons that the Industrial Revolution was a positive thing was that it had laws that improved working conditions, production had increased, and merchandise became cheaper.

While the proportional style has seats allotted by a percentage of a vote. The proportional style has a chance to for a coalition government allowing for ideological representation, where issues caused by other parties can be solved. The single member has a clear overall winner not necessarily from the majority of the votes, but from the members of legislature.

How Lying Affects the Brain Researchers have discovered that when we tell lies, it desensitized our brains to the negative emotions that surround lying. So this may encourage people to tell even larger lies in the future. This research was completed by the University College London, and was published in the magazine Nature Neuroscience on October 24, 2016. This team definitely made progress in discovering the brain's response to dishonesty.

Do you think that boredom is really bad? Well, many people are very bored all of the time, making them possibly depressed. Boredom is a really bad thing to us. It can lead to tragic consequences and trouble. Boredom can be terrible to people who hated it.

The Industrial Revolution had many positive and negative impacts on society. The positive include cheaper clothes, more job opportunities, and improvement in transportation. And the negative would include exploitation of women and children, workers work long hours and environmental damages. These are just a few that I believe had an impact on the Industrial Revolution.
