The question I chose for the essay is what are the most important aspects of the US Government’s power? It can clearly be said that it is essentially the structure and functionality of the country’s government, the profoundness of its constitution and the fervent commitment of its leaders to the national objectives. The United States of America is among those rare nations that have a remarkably rich history. Sovereignty is the absolute power over a certain area or region. This power in the past has been given to monarchs, royal sovereignty, or even to a group of people that decide the fate for the masses, parliamentary sovereignty. In 1787, the founding fathers of our great nation developed the Constitution. The Constitution was not only a document, but a new beginning for our nation. By introducing a completely new ruling document for the United States of America, many different opinions arose. I think the people have the power in the U.S because, the people are the voice of America and they can be the change that America needs and wants. The people also choose the leader of the Country either Republican or Democrat and the 2 other parties of Libertarian and Green Party. Another thing is that people want more unity for Americans and then finally to let the states make their own laws so they won’t be enraged with the U.S Government and they could work out the law making with the Congress. The people are the change that america wants but nobody is going to say anything.

When looking into the ideas of political theorists it is important to the use of political concepts that may play an important role in what the theorists are suggesting and also how they may affect the relationship between to state and the individuals living within a state. The concepts that will be looked at within this essay are: power, authority and also accountability.
