Without the freedom that is granted to me and my fellow Americans, life would be nothing like the way we live it now. No, the lives we live here in America are not perfect, but they are far better than the life that people live in most other countries. We can see this by the overwhelming amount of people that leave their native countries to come to this one. Like most things, freedom is not free. We as a country take for granted that we had to fight to obtain it and still fight to keep it. Our troops are the ones who do that for us and they are not always given the appreciation they deserve. Without those willing to give their lives to protect our freedom like Daniel Faulkner did, we would not have that freedom today. Our freedom is
Freedom is something that many people take for granted. Having freedom allows you to make your own decisions. Many people abuse their rights by making bad choices. It is important to appreciate the rights you have because not everyone around the world has freedom.
As the United States matured, it noticed the growing problems and loopholes of this freedom as its citizens took too much advantage it. The solution? Limit their rights and freedoms. So now our rights are still available to an extent, and our freedoms fenced in to a degree which it is still bearable. But is it still free? Kind of, but not quite. America has manipulated and shaved off parts of our freedom and rights.
Freedom is what makes this fruitful and lustrous land our own, a place that we can call home. If it were
I would like to begin by asking the same question James A. Garfield had asked in 1865, “What is freedom”, is it a bare privilege of not being
Freedom is a very important right. Some nations however do not allow much freedom like the USA. Therefore, I am glad to be a free American. If I weren’t, I would probably face problems like these.
Being an American is something I’m proud of, I have a lot more freedom than other countries. The Declaration of independence was declared on July 4th, 1776 and ever since then the government has only gotten better. Some of the reason the government has gotten better is, we have to ability to vote, and the government is making decisions and is projecting the rights for the citizens.
Have you ever stopped and thought about how nice it is to be free? Imagine a life where you are not able to make all your own decisions by yourself and you are forced to do things by your government. You can’t choose your job, way of life, or anything. Everyday life just isn't the same anymore because of something that happened.
n the wise words of Asa Philip Randolph, “Freedom is never given, it is won.” Thanks to our soldiers and veterans, my generation does not have to fight for our freedom anymore. America has given us an amazing place to live in, with one of the world’s best economy and a society that respects everyone. People can write their own narrative, and everyone can have a great life. Here, everyone is welcomed and given a chance to live the life they dreamed of.
To me freedom is like a gift. Not everybody wants it but a lot do. The people who want it really bad, so bad that they will fight for it. It the same way with a gift, not everybody wants it but some people do and they
in Iraq public out to the world they will less likely to keep their word. If they do make it publicly
Freedom is very important to this country. Without freedom we would not be the country
America's gift to my generation is that they gave us many different freedoms. We got them from veterans fighting for us, to people arguing for these rights. Our veterans fought for us so we could live in a better country. We should all be thankful for these people because they gave us so many different freedoms that made it so easy for us nowadays. Some of the freedoms affected us more than others, like the Freedom of Speech, it affected us by letting us express our opinions without restrain. We were able to give our ideas openly without getting in trouble for it. Another big one is Freedom of Religion, it is letting us practice any religion that we choose. This one helped out a lot of people out so they could keep on practicing their own religion
Around 325,206,836 people can say that they have an important gift from America- freedom. This generation was given freedom as a gift. Freedom is where we can make a choice. Freedom is what we want to believe in. Freedom is ours. We can wake up every day and make our own decisions. We aren't forced to do tasks. There are commitments that we must do every day, such as go to school or work. However, the people of America take our freedom as something to get bored of and toss it to the ground, neglected. Not every person in the world gets to say they are free. As citizens, we need to show our pride and love for our free country.
Freedom and Equality meant the most to me because, we first must answer these questions. Is there equality without freedom? And Does true freedom, exit? Never in a million years would I will ever have thought about such a topic, it was not so important to me but when I say what is going in the country at this moment, I was curious regarding the answers.
of us fail to cherish and value our granted freedom. Many of us do not
