Companies such as VF, Columbia, and GoPro have all grown off of these sports, and are still growing today. Although, all of this is in jeopardy. Low snow fall could cause all of these companies, jobs, and resorts to go downhill. Mitch Tobin, a journalist, had this to say about snow sports economy and risk factor. “But for me and millions of other Americans, playing in the snow is essential to our well-being. We’ll neglect family, friends, work, the health of the planet, and other concerns in order to get our white powder fix. Call it an addiction or healthy habit, snow sports are more than fun and games: they’re also an economic engine that climate change threatens to freeze.” (Tobin) Snow sports will always be part of the culture, despite the weather. However big and complex a ski resort every component depends upon one basic element for its overall function and livelihood of operation. Snowmaking, it is most generally used at ski resorts to supplement the natural snow that has fallen. Using the process of snowmaking allows ski resorts to improve the reliability of their snow cover on the mountain and the ability to extend their ski seasons. I am not Elsa......the cold bothers me. Skiing is one of my favorite activities in the winter. I go as often as I can. Usually about once a year. This year in particular I encountered some pretty cold temperatures on the slopes. I am talking 6 degree weather with wind chill in the negatives. It is difficult to have a good time skiing when my body is so cold I can no longer feel my hands and feet. There are ways to be prepared for cold weather while skiing. Here are some of my tips below.

From seeing the Olympic athletes expertly ski through the course, by being diligent and also agile. Hearing people talk about their experiences and memories on ski trips. It would be a great opportunity to go experience the thrill of trying something new. Beginners have to learn, the basic, stance and equipment, terminology of skiing, and getting told how to ski.

When it comes to the Olympic Games, there is a lot of history behind it. The first Olympics were held in Olympia, Greece, and the games were played by elite athletes. The games went from 776 BC to 393 AD and stopped up until 1896 AD, when the games were held in Athens, Greece. The Olympics have become a great way for countries to show off some of the interesting aspects of their country. For a country to host the Olympics, they must go through a process. First, you must submit a bid to the IOC (International Olympic Committee) stating why the Olympics should be hosted in your country, whether it be economic, social, and or environmental reasons. If the IOC chooses a country to host the Olympics of a certain year, they will let them know that the bid was accepted. Next, the process of building the stadiums and the houses for the Olympics begins. This is the most costly part of the entire process. The construction takes many years to complete, and once the construction is finished, the rest is the setup to prepare for what is to come. After the Olympic Games take place, the goal for the host country is to leave a legacy. A legacy is defined as "the cause-effect relationship with the event and its immediate impacts and ends with clearly identified outcomes" (Hiller, 2014, 47). When analyzing a certain Olympic event, it is imperative to assess all three phases of the games and all of the aspects possible to determine whether it leaves a positive or negative legacy. When
