When Romeo shows up, Romeo tries to keep the peace but Tybalt says, "Boy, your words can't excuse the harm you've done to me, so now turn and draw your sword". Mercutio, however, stands up for Romeo and fights Tybalt. They "fight", but eventually, Tybalt accidentally kills Mercutio, then flees. His rage and desire for Romeo caused the death of another person. He keeps seeking fights out of his anger.

Also, to make things even worst, the Capulets got revenge by exiling Romeo, as Lady Capulet said: “I beg for justice, which thou, prince, must give; Romeo slew Tybalt, Romeo must not live” (3, 2, 185). If no one from the families were hungry to get revenge, the teenagers would not have died since Romeo would not have been exiled. Thus, an escaping plan would not be needed; nobody would have paid for the
