The first advantage of Google Glass is that it is a true hands free experience. Google Glass is the only device that eliminated the need to pull out your phone or your computer for your email, text, or call. Google Glass is controlled completely by voice command and it does most of the things that our smart phones can do for us. Sending texts, sending emails, searching the web and taking pictures are some of the features of Google Glass. [8] A person does not have to get his phone out of his pocket. Google Glass, as noted above, is equipped with a 5MP built-in camera, a 720p video camera, and a voice recognition technology, which allows it user to shoot videos and take photos at any given moment. Another example is phone calls, using a …show more content…
Google Glass is designed for people on move. So instead of being stuck to the smartphone, Google Glass lets you explore the same experience with less hassle. [8]
The third advantage of Google Glass is the number of great apps it has. Some of the really helpful apps are World Lens; Golf Sight; Lynx Fit, and Google Now. World Lens consists of major languages in the world that enables the Glass to translate any language. [9] Google Glass is able to translate into different languages with a simple voice command. This can also be beneficial for tourists who are not familiar with a particular language in a new country. Since Google Glass is operated by voice commands, anyone can say something that can be translated into another language. All you need to say is “Google Translate this….” and the app will do its magic. [10] I personally think this is a very cool feature. There are so many tourists who visit a country and have trouble communicating with the locals there. I understand that our smart phone could do the same thing. However, I have used some translation apps on my iphone and they are not the best in the world.
Golf Sight and Swing Byte are really helpful apps for golf novices and even professionals. “Golf Sight is a GPS rangefinder that was conceived specially for Glass in order to provide players with accurate course data, pin distance, and scoring information. SwingByte, on the other hand, is a hands-free app that helps improve

With applications and browsers like “Google” and “Yahoo”, you get a wealth of knowledge with just the touch of a button. This is very beneficial for people like students, who no longer need to carry around heavy textbooks. Students can search the internet for the information that they need. Ease of access to this abundance of information is also a huge asset of having a cell phone. If you have a burning question that you need the answer to right away, you can look it up on the internet. Before cell phones you would have had to go to the library or find an encyclopedia to find the
The Google Glass is one of the most popular new examples of wearable technology [19]. The Google Glass is a pair of glasses, prescription or non-prescription, that has a camera, touchpad and a display that can do multiple technological tasks: search, navigation, Gmail, Calendar, Now cards, phone calls, text messages, photos, videos, and video calls [17]. Glass has yet to be released to the public, but has been available for developers since February 2013 [9]. Although the Google Glass is still a relatively new piece of technology [17], it certainly hasn’t been lacking debates on the legality and privacy concerns of the device.
Despite being a potentially lifesaving device, there have been some concerns from people inside and outside the medical field’s community. These concerns include privacy concerns, fear of users being distracted, HIPAA compliance, and network issues, but Google Glass has the ability to overcome each of these obstacles. With the correct applications, proper training, and the correct network, along with the current rules already enforced in the medical field, these hurdles can easily be conquered.
Golfing is a sport that many people enjoy taking part of. It used to be just a sport that older men enjoyed, but now, it is recognized as a sport for people of all ages and races. Men, women, and kids all enjoy the challenge that it presents because you not only have to learn the proper stance, but you have to learn the perfect golf swing.

Relate topic to audience: As we get older, we get less active and many people cannot play physical sports or don’t have that stamina that we have at our age to run around and do whatever. Learning a proper golf swing is the stepping stool in the golf world and the beginning of getting into a game that can teach you patience, manners, and relieve your stress.
When planning to take up golf swing training, two options are available in the market - a manual trainer who provides you golf swing training and a golf swing trainer - an electronic device that provides you with golf swing training. Expert swingers are available in the market and they could really help you improve with your golf swing. Nothing beats real time training with an expert golf swing trainer standing by you and helping you improve your swing, but generally the cost of such specialized golf swing training programs is pretty high. When expensive golf swing training is not the choice the better option is a golf swing training device. Golfers
As a young caddie running up and down the course, I saw my uncle slamming the ground with a golf club. I always found him so angry, playing the game of golf. I stopped running and watched him play; I studied his body as he elegantly swung the club through the air. Sweat dripping from his nose, his shirt soaked completely through. I watched him for hours that day, and I would watch him over and over again, trying to find that perfect swing. The perfect golf swing is said to be unattainable to many in the golfing world. I spent my childhood on a golf course being a caddy for my uncle. I cannot inform you on the perfect golf swing because I never witnessed it, although I can explain the fundamentals of golf.
Humankind has gone through many ages including the Stone Age, Bronze Age, Iron Age, the Middle ages, Machine age, and the period we are in today. Many valid arguments for what period we are in today including the Big Data Age, Social Age, or even Information Age. However, I think a valid argument can also be made for the Glass Age. Throughout this course we have covered many topics while using a wide variety of equipment and technology all made possible through the advancements of glass. From window panes absorbing UV radiation, microscope lenses or eye glasses, to the fiberoptic cable that keeps us in an information age. Todays world would not be possible without glass.
A. With the Golfer Experience Module, your golfers can see the hole layout complete with exact distances to the pins and hazards. Your players also have the ability to touch the screen on the hole where they would like to hit their layup shot and find the exact distance to that spot so they can choose the perfect club. Golfers can do the same thing off the tee box. This is helpful to see where they need to aim their tee shot, particularly on doglegs, where bunkers or water features are in play or where the fairway narrows and the rough is deep.
The glass cockpit is a screen that displays data such as airspeed, altitude, and vertical airspeed. This technology replaces the analog gauges that have been used in almost every airplane for the past century. The advantage of the glass cockpit is that it takes all the raw data that would have otherwise been displayed by the gauges, processes it, and then displays in an easy understand picture of aircrafts current situation and position. This allows the pilot to spend less time referring to the numerous gauges around the cockpit, and more time focusing on situational awareness [1].
Google Glass has been described as “a personal assistant whereby it allows users to direct connect to the Web via WiFi, or tethers to a 3G or 4G mobile devices via Bluetooth. Its weight is less than a pair of sunglasses ( approximately nine pounds ) and it basically operated by touch and voice.” (Tuffley,2013) Since Google Glass comes with the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, you could connect your Google Glass with your mobile devices such a smart phone, via Bluetooth. Google Glass also able to translate your speech to text, with it connected to your mobile devices, you can now chat instantly with your friends on Chat Room or Instant Messaging without looking down on your smart phones, instead, you just have to “talk” to them. Google Glass is said to be an almost “hands free device”, the propose of it is to create a more active lifestyle with our advanced technology, it is enough for us seeing people meeting up in a café, meanwhile all they do is just looking down on their smart phones instead of talking to each other, and they could call that a “gathering”, yet it is actually just a group of people sitting together looking at their smart phones separately. The Google Glass is currently still on it’s “Trial and Error” journey, where Google make the Google Glass available for developers, the price stated in the meantime was $1,500. A few lucky developers
Google Glass is a revolutionary new wearable computer communication product. The Google Glass includes most of what a smart phone can function, for example “Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, speakers, a camera, microphone, touchpad”(Brian Voo 1. Tiny (But Powerful) Hardware).
