We all know that earth was changed through the ages. We’ve gone from nothing to dinosaurs, humans, and wars. We’ve, as a race have used and adapted to our environment to meet our needs, such as food and water. We started farming, using domestic animals, and storing the food. The lives of people of the ancient world were shaped by the geography of their region because it affects the amount of food produced, the accessibility to water, and their ease at which to find shelter. Farming is a very important job. Humans didn’t start with framing thougth. At first we were hunters and gatherers moving with the food. Over time we started to farm; after the Ice Age there was a huge drought. Humans started to farm and live at one spot. Document 1-1

After the ban of Tobacco in 1644 by the last Ming emperor Huaizhun the already addicted Chinese people had to find something new to smoke and as opium was already smoked mixed together with tobacco before the ban, many of the smokers changed to opium smoking itself or also Arsenic, that is also a drug. So as the Opium smoking was already widely spread across China, it was already slowly destroying the health and the cohesion of the nation, but it was still a problem only within China. Even though Chinese-European trade already existed in the seventeenth century a law for the trade was made 1757 and it was called the “Canton-System” and the trade between China and all European countries got reduced to only Canton or as it is today called
The revolutionary war was a fight for independence and created America but some people think the revolutionary war was not so revolutionary. I believe the revolutionary war was not revolutionary. In document four, the data showed that there were less wealthy and less well to do in the northern states and in the middle states there were less wealthy between 1765 and 1785. This shows that America’s economics and sustainability were lowered and not as good as it used to be. In document 6, in 1819 a African American valedictorian gave a speech about how no one will employ him, white boys won’t work with him, and white clerks won’t associate with him. He said, “Can you be surprised by my discouragement.” Which shows colored people still have not
In the beginning of mankind's evolutionary history, being nomadic was a common practice of living because following migratory herds and gathering for other edible plants was a necessity for survival. It wasn’t until approximately 8,000 B.C. when people started to learn how to grow crops in a single spot without soil depletion and thus, agriculture was born. (New World Encyclopedia 2015) This major advancement in humankind allowed humans to form civilizations and transformed the way humans live that is the sprawling society that exists today. With ever expanding cities and the population growing at an exponential rate, humans need an abundance of agricultural land to support the world's rising demands. The effect of human's stationary lifestyle
After the Second World War, the great European Empires started to lose their colonial territories all over the world. England was losing its colonies in India and in parts of Asia while France had lost their South East Asian colony of Indochina. This defeat was terrible for France and to further exasperate the problem for the nation, the new independence of Indochina persuaded other French colonies such as Tunisia and Morocco to also revolt against their colonial oppressor and gain independence. However the biggest loss to France was its loss of their colony in Algeria. Algeria had been a French colony for the past 100 years and over a million French settlers, known as pied noirs, were currently living inside the colony (Lowe).

The American colonists were justified in waging war and breaking away from Britain. In fact, they had every right to fight against the British. They were justified because of unjust laws and a parliament of tyranny.

The Preamble for the U.S. Constitution is often referred to as the mission statement for the United States. As a mission statement, the preamble provides a list of several goals for the government. Some of the goals it provides are establishing justice, insuring domestic tranquility, providing for the common defense, promoting general welfare, and securing liberty. However, is the federal government really doing its part to distribute the money properly and fulfill all of the goals in the preamble? The budget is divided into three main clusters; the big five, the middle five, and the little five.
The preamble played a vital role in shaping America as it is today. Three of the many national goals stated in this essential document include forming a more perfect union, establishing justice, and promoting the general welfare of every citizen. All of these goals have been achieved to some degree since the conception of the document and America continues to thrive and push forward, still as much in its’ prime as it was years ago.
Some may think that farming would be easier work than scavenging the Earth for food. This would be incorrect, as Standage says, "... farming is less productive when measured by the amount of food produced per hour of labor"(3). When people were farming, it took them longer to get the food than if they were to just hunt and gather.
In the beginning of agriculture and with the growth and cultivation of crops in order to feed a group of people, this marked the end of the hunter gather lifestyle and was the beginning of small farming villages. These small groups of people had began to be more rooted and stay in distinctive regions, they were proceeding to start being more dependent on agriculture in order to be able to sufficiently feed themselves. First, people had lived a very nomadic lifestyle; they had to keep following their food in order to eat. So, staying in one place for a long period was very rare. Once they started to plant crops and were cultivating the land to survive, they started to build more sturdy homes that were stationary and started to develop the start of a civilization.
Geography and the environment play a monumental role in the establishment and success of a nearly every civilization. For example, rivers bring water and allow for agricultural development, while mountains or deserts provide for protection and create a barrier. Many things, such as the aforementioned deserts and mountains, can offer both positive and negative influences on the society in question. The climate and amount of rainfall is directly related to the success or failure of crop growing, and thus related to the amount of time spent on simply surviving. Civilizations that are able to spend less time on subsistence farming are able to redirect that energy towards the establishment of arts, culture, religion, and science. Where a
Farming had been discovered during the Middle Stone Age and marked the beginning of the New Stone Age. Before farming, people lived by hunting wild animals and gathering wild plants. When supplies ran out, these hunter-gatherers moved on. Farming meant that people did not need to travel to find food. Instead, they began to live in settled communities, and grew crops or raised
