Children are expected to have approximately 60 minutes of daily physical activity, the impact that physical activity has on the development of a child includes, fine gross motor skills, problem solving, social skills, and enjoyment. However this is the fact for an average ‘normal,’ child. What happens impact does physical activity have on children with disabilities, specifically a child on the Autism spectrum? What impact does physical activity have on the development of social skills, in a child who lacks development of such skills?
What is Autism:
A child who lies on the Autism Spectrum (AS), “Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) refers to a group of complex neurodevelopment disorders characterized by repetitive and characteristic patterns of behavior and difficulties with social communication and interaction.
