The Effect Of Alleycats On The Weight Of The Bowling Ball

INTRODUCTION
Energy is the ability to do work. It can transform into different types of energy such as potential and Kinetic. Potential and Kinetic energy are two opposite types of energy. Potential is energy of position-when an item is unmoving it has the potential to move. Kinetic energy is energy of motion-as the item is in motion it is converted to kinetic.
The AlleyCats are a special type of bowlers who have the ability to change certain features in their environment. They are able to change the height of the ramp and the weight of the ball in their game. For this lab, the guiding question to this experiment is, “What recommendations will you give the AlleyCats to help them win the bowling championship?”

Observation of the experiment was also collected. The obtained data will be organized on a data table to be analyzed by comparing and contrasting wich experiment would best knock the pins down.

So the higher the ruler is the more potential energy it would be. As the marble rolled down the ruler, its kinetic energy (553334.91 J) was also increasing. The reason is because velocity and mass are part of what makes kinetic Energy. The faster the speed and the heavier mass caused more kinetic energy to be present. The potential energy of the marble when it was on the ramp was converted to kinetic energy as it rolled down. So, the more potential energy there is, the more transformed into kinetic energy to help the ball go down the ramp and push the card. This shows that the height of the ramp and the mass of the marble is what determines how well the marble hits the index
