Education is important in many cultures because it gives an opportunity to gain the skill which is needed to navigate in the world. It plays a crucial factor in all countries. Also, it is important in the country like Kazakhstan which is developing. The education system of Kazakhstan has changed a lot from the USSR’s collapsing. It was improved and modified. However, the result of PISA ranked the knowledge of the 15 years old students to 49th in 2012 (PISA 2012 Results in Focus, 2014). The ranking shows the education system of school needs an amelioration. Therefore, the Kazakhstani government requested technical assistance to improve the nation’s educational system in 2011(PISA 2012 Results in Focus, 2014). In response, the World Bank Group launched the Joint Economic Research Program, or JERP, in order to enhance the quality of education. After researches there were provided additional technical equipment to schools but the method or approach of teaching was not changed. There is mistake that the way of teaching and requirements to teachers weren’t considered that could have improved the system. The method of teaching of successful countries should have considered and applied for Kazakhstani schools’ education. Therefore, this research was conducted in order to regard the gap. As an example country for application its experience Finland was chosen because Finland’s way has significant implication for reformer, especially those who is facing the same problems. Finland
First, the author consider that funding is the basic attribute that identify the level of education in public schools. It is doubtful that the quality of education depends only on the large funding for schools. The assertion should be strengthened through application of several techniques such as analyzing the results of the General examinations, conduction of surveys regarding the quality of teaching, using the latest logistical support. If the author had given some evidence regarding the factors determining the quality of education, it would strengthen the argument.
Today, we have advantaged schools and disadvantaged schools. Due to so many biases in the educational sector today, some schools are well equipped with the right resources and state-of-the-art infrastructure. Usually, these learning institutions are located in the rich neighborhoods or are privately owned by individuals. The opposite is the case for schools that are located outside this neighborhood. They are branded as poor schools, and they are left with poor infrastructure with less resources and sub-standard education because there are not enough teachers. Technology in these kinds of schools is too obsolete for students to benefit from it. The future of education depends on the responses or support from the government. The government needs to step in and improve the current state of our schools and equip them to increase the quality of education. Government needs to step up the need for teachers and encourage teachers in order to solve the problem of attrition rate in the public schools. The future of education in the United States of America is bright, but this entire problem, especially the attrition rate, will become a stumbling block to the growth of education. The budget allocated to the department of education should be increased enough for the school district to be able to counter the problem of attritional rate between teachers. The government should ensure all technology and infrastructures are up to date. The teacher-to-student ratio has to be brought down to a very reasonable figure by employing more teachers and building new classes. Technology is rapidly increasing and changing so e –learning should be incorporated into school curriculum to ensure future education is secured in the area of online studies. E-learning should be introduced into school curriculum in such a way that students will be able
In the world, countries are competing to have the best education system. Some countries such as America spend thousands of dollars per student during the school year yet have average test score. America should focus in a different system to help students raise their test scores and education. America should look at Finland education system. Finland grants equality education to all, have a better education structure system, and Finland comes to the top in test scores. While some people might say Finland does not have a large population, which helps the country with less education cost.

In Animal Farm the power of language is displayed. The pigs use language to manipulate other animals on the farm. Snowball, Napoleon, and Squealer both have different ways of using language to convince the other animals what they say is right. “The animals could not make up their minds which was right indeed, they always found themselves in agreement with the one who was speaking at the moment” (66). Snowball, Napoleon, and Squealer were all successful at manipulating the animals.

While education in America has stagnated, Finnish students are demonstrating impressive academic growth. This surprising trend leads experts to question how the tiny country could out perform the wealthiest nation of all. When observing the United States’ school system, however, the permeation of competitive ideology becomes evident. Ironically, America should abandon its competition-based education system if American students are to compete with Finnish students whose country employs an innovative approach to education.
With the development of the modern state, education has been a decisive factor in affecting the international status and impacts of a country. People pay more attention to education quality and provide advanced study facilities so that their country can have a faster development. With many conflicting different education forms, it is necessary to compare and contrast them for getting a better understanding of the education system in the world. The education here refers to teaching quality, different education level system, the policy and the well-being from the government about education. I will explain the similarities and differences about the education in Finnish and Japan.
Was our educational system created on a deeply mistaken theory? According to E.D. Hirsch the educational system in 1988 was based on the teachings of a 50 year old theory from Jean Jacques Rousseau. Hirsch, talks about John Dewey, “the writer who has most deeply affected modern educational theory and practice”(Hirsch 1988). Dewey has based his theories on the old teachings of Rousseau. “Only by piling up specific, communally shared information can children learn to participate in complex cooperative activities with other members of their community”(Hirsch 1988) is what Hirsch said, which completely contradicts what John Dewey was teaching. Hirsch goes on to prove Dewey made assumptions and that he had been too reckless to reject certain teachings. The educational system of 1988 was deeply flawed, according to Hirsch, the purpose of the article was to show just that, his audience is anybody who will listen to his purpose, and his stance passionate and concerning.
The curriculum in Finland consists of these main ideas: personalized learning for all, high standards, the enjoyment of subjects and equal education. Personalized learning is the most important piece of finland's education system. Teachers work with
I searched about which country has the best education system in the world. There are different results for ten top countries where have the best education system. In some of their ranking there is America name and in some of them is not, but in some of them there is one name, Finland. For example, according to Which Country Comes Top for Skills and Education by Tim Leopold and Tamara Leonardi on AGENDA website, Finland is the best country in world with the all elements that the best education system needs to have. When I read this page, I wanted to study more about Finnish education system. There is some interesting information that show Finland government spends more money on education instead of its military. For example, according to Finland Ministry of Defense website that this country spends 2658.8 million Euros which is just 1.29 percent of the Finland GDP. On the other hand, according to Center on International Education Benchmarking website Finish government spent 6.1 percent of Finland GDP in 2011 that is over three times of defense budget. Thus, these information clarify the reason of having the best rank of the education in the world by Finland. They understood the only way to improve their country is improve their knowledge. However, these amounts are not my reason to compare America with Finland, but my goal is to say a country can be successful by pay on education than
Americans should study the teachings other countries, where other students rank higher in math and science. For example, in the 1995 and 1999 studies, TIMISS found out that teaching methods differed in Japan from the other countries and that Japan was the only high-achieving country. This shows that teaching methods in other countries are more effective. This is also important because these methods can help improve American teaching. In short, America can benefit from different teaching methods in other countries.
The United States is considered by many to be a world leader who excels in every arena. In education, however, the U.S. has fallen behind other countries in Europe and Asia, such as China, Korea, and Finland. These countries outperform the United States when it comes to education. In order for the United States to continue to compete in the world economy it has to improve its system of education to compete in changing times. The United States education system is inferior to many foreign countries education system based on how U.S. students score on tests compared to students in foreign countries.
The public education system expects all the children and adolescents from the ages from three to eighteen to be in school. This is to see the results of success accompanying the kids through them being economically aware and responsible to the country they reside in, to further better the scientific and technological developments in which the system invests in by funding education till the end of the secondary school and lastly to progress social skills and understanding while interacting with their peers.
The education system has been a controversial issue among educators. Requirements of school do not let student choose what they want to study for their future. It’s a big issue to force student study specific curriculums, which don’t help them improve, and what they like to create something. Educators choose a general system for education to all students which based on general knowledge. Intelligent or genius students have to be in that system of education, which doesn’t let them improve their creativity. Educators attempt to change that system to make it better, but their changing was not that great to be an example for the world. Also, did that change qualify education system to compete other systems or not? In some examples and
