If you’re over 30 and ever got in trouble in school, you’ll be familiar with corporal punishment. Corporal punishment is a way of dealing with a crime or misdemeanor and it has been around for so many years even centuries. Back then it was only used in prisons or correctional facilities but in the late 1800s schools started using it as a way of making the students behave. Not only did it make the schools reputation look decent but also made the grades a whole lot better than they are now. With this claim I believe that corporal punishment be reintroduced (Reason 1) This has been occurring in schools for years, ever since the 2000s, and its only gradually been getting worse. Back then we never had this problem because of corporal punishment. Having the paddle there indicates the instinct in the human mind to compel to the rules instead of getting hurt were as without the paddle they always think that if they get in trouble nothing will happen. This instinct is designed to limit the amount of pain we will receive so immediately after seeing the paddle it will trigger this response and make them behave, to take the path of least resistance. It fixes school disciplinary problems and has proven that the school will have better grades because one of the most times people got paddled was because of not doing homework. Homework although tedious and hated by most children, the children that do their homework show better understanding of the topic and are more likely to
