The focus area for this observation: Leaderships skills and Life Experience
There are several best practices I observed during this observation they are Leaderships expertise and Life Experience. I observed Mr. Rohlmeier's classroom lesson objective that instructed the students to write a paper solving the problem with the Proclamation of 1763. The focus of the journal was the Sugar Act that proceeded to the previous week of the Currency Act, Stamp Act, Molasses ACT and the Proclamation of 1763 would follow.
A particular statement that caught the student's attention was (hook) how you can solve the problems that Parliament and King George III created for the colony? During small groups, students of five read the Proclamation of 1763 and discuss the problems the people were having in the

They will explain the conflicts the people were having with the government? Afterward, the class will create a Venn diagram with the Pro and Con. In addition to answering the question, what are some of the ethical issues we are facing in American? (Prejudice or Bias, Discrimination) While implementing the lesson a discussion on what is the opinion of the text and your approval why and why not? These are the following questions that I will use toward the writing. What style of language is viewable with the vocabulary usage? What tools can one use (jargon icons, distinct phase, and teams) in an assignment? According to the article are there any information that was unclear, missing, or unavailable? What patterns do you notice and can you predict what will happen next? Use multiple perspectives on how others view the situation differently and who agrees and disagree? What role do they play and how do their opinions differ? The grading system will consist of constructing scoring guides aligned to the lesson
The Act of 1764, also known as The Sugar Act, lowered the taxes on molasses but also it had more ways to enforce the tax. In addition to the tax on molasses they taxed things such as silks, wines, and potash. The Americans were outraged with this new law. The colonists did whatever they could to ignore this new law. The British passed the Quartering Act which basically said that the American colonists have to house and feed British forces who were serving in North America. This inflamed the
The Royal Proclamation of 1763 issued by King George the III and mercantilism caused the first grievances colonists had with the British. After the French and Indian War, Great Britain acquired all the land that stretched from the Appalachian mountains to the Mississippi River from the French. This land agreement was the result of the Treaty of Paris. The war officially ended French's control of land in North America because French gave the rest of their land west of the Mississippi to Spain as compensation for Spain's loss of Florida to the British. Even with the prosperous land acquired after the war, King George III passed the Proclamation of 1763 which forbidden colonial settlers from settling west of the Appalachian Mountains. The main
The Act was created in order to control the use of paper money. Parliament did not appreciate the colonists trading their items and causing fights over if the trade is fair or not.
As tension escalated between the British colonies in the New World and the British, many individuals began to reach their breaking point. Much of this tension created violence and unjustified actions. However, the colonists’ fight for independence was condoned as the colonies shifted from outbreaks and riots to a serious Britain-free government ideal post the American Revolution. Such acts of the Americans were justified because the colonists only wanted freedom and independence. Instead of giving them what the colonists wanted, Britain took advantage of them using taxes and controlled them with a leader on the other side of the earth.
The proclamation of 1763 is known to cause an angry period of time between most colonists. Although, many colonists were indeed angry and feeling betrayed that King Georgia lll would let the natives have land. There were many different perspectives to The Proclamation of 1763 and not just negative ones. There were also many positive benefits, as well as some neutral feelings. In this article, there are four personally conducted interviews on four different people, with different lives, aspects, and all of them in different locations in Georgia. Each interviewed person was asked the same three questions, so the feedback could be compared and contrasted. The first: did the Proclamation of 1763 have a positive, negative, or neutral affect on you? The second question was: how did you personally feel about the Proclamation of 1763? The third question being: what would you like to have seen changed about the Proclamation of 1763?
The central pillar of the British economy during its colonial period was its extensive trading power. Any threat to this power would have to be remedied sooner than later. For this exact reason the Currency Act of 1764 was birthed. In spirit the Currency Act of 1764 was intended for the betterment of British commerce. However, in actuality the Currency Act of 1764 had a negative impact on the lives of British colonial residents.
Building Background Knowledge: This close reading lesson is appropriate AFTER a unit on the American Revolution. It is assumed students have studied the events leading up to the writing of the Declaration of Independence. Do NOT build background knowledge on the Declaration of Independence itself. The purpose of the close read is for students to determine the meaning. Videos on the writing of the Declaration of Independence can be found on the History Channel’s website at www.history.com
King George III promulgated the Proclamation of 1763 to maintain peace with the Indians and to follow the regulations of an agreement called the Treaty of Easton. This Proclamation drew an imaginary line along the Appalachian Mountains from South Canada to Georgia. Conflict between Indians and settlers were reduced by the British government by separating them apart. The Proclamation of 1763 also restricted settlers from buying any land from the Indians. Private deals between settlers and the Indians had been a great conflict in the past and could easily turn gruesome. Instead, the act required that all land deals with Indians be made with only the governor officials. All of this was to prevent any mistrust or for the settlers to abuse and take advantage of the Indians. So, for the Indians to gain trust towards the British and not want any violence with them. The Proclamation of 1763 also awarded the soldiers with land, the ones who fought in the French and Indian War. It also restricted settlers from buying land or trading with Indians. Only government officials could buy land and trade with Indians. The reason for only government to do the trading and the buying was to help prevent the settlers and Indians from a bad disagreement.
Research the governmental policies of the colonies that helped shape our Constitutional Republic today. Look for examples of policies that were established during the colonial period which are still in use today. Some things to think about are the powers of the federal government separated among three branches, the system of checks and balances, and the process by which bills become laws. (A good reference is The Federalist Papers, No. 1, 2, 30, 45, 47, 69, 80.) Write your findings in a report of 750 words using correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Include your research sources in the report.
The Proclamation of 1763 began a growing resentment for basically the same reason they were upset towards the Indians. In the Transcript of the Proclamation of 1763, it states, ” And We do further strictly enjoin and require all Persons whatever, who have either wilfully or inadvertently seated themselves upon any Lands within the Countries above described, or upon any other Lands, which, not having been ceded to, or purchased by Us, are still reserved to the said Indians as aforesaid, forthwith to remove themselves from such Settlements.”(King George III, 1763) If I was a colonist and I read this I would be like, “you are not my mom. I get your my King and have almost complete control over me, but you are not my mom and can’t tell me what to do.”, but then I would follow him in fear that I would get in trouble and be killed. King George III also writes. “And We do further declare it to be Our Royal Will and Pleasure, for the present as aforesaid, to reserve under Our Sovereignty, Protection, and Dominion, for the Use of the said Indians...We do hereby strictly forbid, on Pain of Our Displeasure, all Our loving Subjects from making any Purchases or Settlements whatever, or taking Possession of any of the Lands above reserved, without Our especial Leave and License for that Purpose first obtained.”(King George III,1763) The Colonists were probably mad for the same reason as they were upset. It’s kind of like the King saying, it’s our pleasure, like a mom saying to an aunt that their kid didn’t want to come over, to give this land. Also “Our loving Subjects” is also like a mom getting on to their kid being like “my Wonderful daughter”, but in code saying “you better behave”. But it wasn’t their pleasure and they were just saying that to get on the Indians good side, and the colonists knew that so they were getting more and more upset, until they eventually rebelled. The growing resentment between them started when this Proclamation was written and the colonists got so fed up that they eventually rebelled.
Best practices are techniques or methods that lead to better results and improvements in things such as ethics teamwork motivation or other things that keep a business going smoothly. These practices utilize all the knowledge and technology advances that one has to conquer success in the given field. The term of “Best Practices” is used often times in healthcare education systems project management as well as government administration and several other organizations. These things make certain businesses become the best in class or the ideal for its category. Examples of best practices are but are not limited to things that deal with price, employee perks or how happy the employee is, motivation,

One strand in the area is the development of lists of best practices. Among the most famous are those of Pfeffer (1994, 1998), whose list of 16 (of relevance here included employment security, selectivity in selection, promotion from within, high pay, incentive pay, wage compression, and training and skill development), later narrowed to seven (of relevance here were employment security, selective and sophisticated hiring, high compensation contingent on performance, extensive training and development, reduction of status differentials, and sharing information self-managed teams/teamworking; see overviews of other lists in Boxall & Purcell, 2003; Redman & Wilkinson, 2006). Some take a broad definition that best practices are those that can add value to the business. Others are more specific and pinpoint certain practices in particular situations. For others, they are those present in successful and/or high-profile companies. Indeed, research on best practices including collective issues of work organization and employee voice is rare (Boxall & Purcell, 2003).
