The Controversy Between Creationism And Evolution

Imagine a world much like this one whereas mostly everything looks the exact same. Everyone is still happy, maybe even happier than they are in today’s civilization. Birds are still chirping, kids are still playing, and cars are still obnoxiously loud. Same old world with one minor difference: scientific discoveries have been dwindled down to little to none. This is the cause of society as a whole accepting creationism and allowing it to grow and overcome current science and scientists. Without the necessary drive, people would not want to expand our scientific knowledge and they would not discover fascinating new things that the universe has to offer. With creationists claiming that the world was created by a higher being and there is no need to leave, space exploration, for example, would come to a halt. Evolution simply talks about “the origin of life through natural processes” (Lamoureux). From a true scientist’s view, it is preposterous to even think of letting creationism venture into the science world and become one with the community due to the insurmountable evidence at hand. Not everything, however, is at ease of access to the public, making it mildly difficult to gather information to write or type a paper, unless the person is a professional. Creationists on the other hand think that due to the “scientific” information they have believe that they deserve the right to collaborate with public schools which is completely reasonable. Creationism very simply states that “the world was made by a creator”. Evolution is about the evidence that is on hand and can be observed by any of the senses while creationism is not really concerned with why or how the world was created but more along the lines of the “fact” that the world came along from creation and nothing else
