One of the easiest places to start is age. What age group will this channel appeal to? This can be difficult to pinpoint, because although many movies and televisions shows are rated for certain ages, this is typically the minimum age of comprehension. Technically Sesame Street is rated for 3 year olds and up, but just because people over the age of 10 can understand the program doesn’t mean they will enjoy it. Knowing I wanted to talk about higher level topics like physics and chemistry automatically bumped the age group up to around teenagers. In the end we decided the majority of people watching this show would be between the ages of 13 and 17, grades 7th-12th. Talking to teachers back home, I learned 8th grade is when students decide if …show more content…
I would need to be able to understand the material I would be talking about. One episode idea I had was the connection between coding and linguistics. I know nothing about either, and in the timeline to create an episode I could not learn those two subjects. I didn’t know what the timeline was yet, but people study those two subjects for years. I didn’t have that kind of time. I thought of a different connection, one between geology and art: Pounamu is a type of rock created in volcanoes and is used in New Zealand Maori cultures. Even though I was well versed in the material from a project I had done on the subject, traveling at this point in time was not a feasible option. There were more ideas I just didn’t have the ability to carry out, but some seemed doable. I ended up creating a list of the first 12 episode I would create: chemistry and art, chemistry and cooking, cooking and math, math and zoology, zoology and physics, physics and natural disasters, disasters and ecology, ecology and geology, geology and biology, biology and astronomy. I had no intention of creating 12 videos for my senior project, but thinking of 12 meant I was planning for later. And planning for the long term was a big part of this project for me, I wanted to learn how to create a channel, not just an
The partnership with Sesame Street in particular is a good move set by the network because of the prominent changes in the industry. The
I am taking Cinema 111 because it is a requirement to fulfill for my minor in Communications for Media. The skills that I had before taking this class in the spring was taking pictures and recording videos on an iPhone as well as a digital camera. I also know a little about the iMovie program on the MacBook Pro. I had to make a video using the program for one of my classes in the past as well as help a friend out to create her movie for a class recently. iMovie allowed me to learn a little bit about editing videos. I learned how to include background music with the dialogue playing after the shots were recorded. I learned how to crop out parts of the video that was not needed. I learned how to enter text within the video. I learned how to make a smooth transition from one scene to another. Finally, I learned how to put an introduction and an ending scene to the video.
Ages ranged from the elderly to high school students, and even though those people were of different ages, the message applied to everyone. Every single person in that audience has been affected by society, but each person handles the demands of society differently. Veronica Sawyer, started

On Friday March 25, Professor Kate Mondloch from University of Oregon Encountering delivered a keynote speech for the “Encountering the Interface” conference held at The Ohio State University. The title of her speech was “Interface Now: Viewing Nam June Paik’s TV Buddha.”

Each country has its own charms and appeals that can only be truly experienced by spending time on its soil. Every monument and restaurant is unique to the people who commonly frequent it. Souvenirs most of the time can be little items of no monetary value, but can experience a part of the essence of the place from which it came. Photos also give each person the sense of the locations that the photos depict. My proposal is to appeal to adult from ages 18 to 26 at the University of Central Oklahoma. I want to create a visual depiction of my time at Hanyang university from the food that I ate to the temples I frequented. I will build a model from the start of my trip to the end of my trip, so the students of the Korean I languages courses at UCO can experience the country along with me. The start
Bob lived during the times of the late 1800s. He couldn't afford to buy a newspaper to know what was going on. He had to ask his neighbors for the latest news and to read his newspaper. He died a little before the first television was invented. His life would've been so much easier to know what is going on in the world and have simple pleasures by watching television shows.
Moreover, to make the video, I had to use my competencies in using the program imovie. In fact, I had experience with this program, since we created a videoclip in french class this year and a movie last year
The power of film had got to me. I saved up my money to get a new video camera. I wanted what I was filming to look good and more professional. Now instead of spending maybe a half hour on a script for an idea, I’d spend days, even weeks planning out my next video. I also upgraded my editing software to iMovie and Adobe After Effects in order to create even better content. I could now make explosions, blood, gun fire and so much more. This expanded my thinking of what I wanted to create and my ideas became larger and more creative. Also more people were wanting to see what I would create next. My YouTube channel has grown immensely and I now have a solid amount of viewers. My work was now paying off and my love for film just kept
There are many different possibilities that come to mind when thinking about the typical culture of Canadians. One of the most prominent artifacts that are typical of our culture is television. The television can be described as an electronic device that receives signals and displays them on a screen, then turns them into visual moving or still images. Those images then come together to tell a story. Due to the portability and accessibility of televisions, they have become very easy to acquire, becoming a central part of the household for many. This also does, however, cause an increase in probability of excessive use of this device resulting in poor health. It also can be a catalyst of many ideas, good or bad, and affect people’s opinions on important matters.
My classmates and I filmed a music video 6 months ago, and I've learnt various things ever since then. Honestly, I severely dislike each and every part of our music video, but practice makes perfect. We did not assign roles for this music video since we thought we could include every individual to experiment with diverse tasks. At first, everything was going smoothly, right till we chose to change the entire idea completely and assign roles. The music video was filmed and edited within a short timeframe due to the deadline. This taught me to think about several ideas in details from the earliest starting point, so once it comes to filming or editing, I wouldn't stress over the constrained time period given.
I recently acquired full licensure as a professional counselor and secured a job in a practice for a percentage of my income. Unlike the professionals with whom I work, I am relatively new to the profession and am not on any insurance panels. To increase profit, both professionals volunteered to sign the insurance forms of the clients whom I counsel, which may constitute fraud. The offer proposes the dilemma of whether I should refuse and risk low income or determine a way to benefit from their assistance in a manner that is legal and ethical. Ethical Principles Involved Complying with my coworkers’ proposition to sign my clients’ insurance forms neglects my clients’ autonomy by restricting their right to know what factors are involved in their treatment.
