The case “Who’s in Charge” covers Jim Davis’s career experiences at Hereford National Bank. Jim Davis had been recruited from another organization where he was not happy in his current position. Hereford National Bank offered a position of power at the bank. Not to mention Jim Davis had no previous experience in the banking field and he would be in leadership role over people who have been Hereford National Bank for over 25 years. Jim Davis had no experience for the job he was supposed to be doing.
Jim was an ineffective leader not to mention he was not a good leader. Jim Davis had a demeanor that showed how weak of a leader he was. Although he was a weak leader he gave off the aura as a person who had the need of power over his people. The
The difference between the due process and crime control model centers on how its supporters see the end goal of justice. In the due process model, importance is placed on the protection of the rights of the individual. “The due process model emphasizes the need to reform people through rehabilitation” (Neubauer & Fradella, 2014). In contrast, the crime control model puts importance on speed and finality in order to repress criminal conduct through punishment. “According to the crime control model, the courts have hindered effective law enforcement and therefore have produced inadequate protection of society” (Neubauer & Fradella, 2014).
Throughout the 20th and 21st century race relations have been a substantial issue. Some issues have went through trial, and others have not. Even today in society, race related matters are still continuing. One is being targeted for the color of their skin, the traditional clothes they wear, and the principals they believe in. Many trials have been brought to court but there are an abundance of other situations that have not been brought to the eyes of others.
I believe the government was justified in this actions because having a rights to wear niqab should not be a problem, they are many counties around the world in there count room woman come and wear a niqab. Also, this woman referred as N.S is in a case where she was sexually assaulted, in which she wanted to keep her identity in private and not let public see it. I believe that just because she is Muslim and wear niqab we should not judge or treat her differently.
