Last week and the week before that, we were shown a movie during class called The Bone Collector, which was released in 1999. The film featuring Denzel Washington as forensics expert Lincoln Rhyme and Angelina Jolie as Police Officer Amelia Donaghy in the leading roles, mainly focuses on a series of murders that happen consecutively in the city of New York. The movie begins with an accident that happens to forensics expert Lincoln Rhyme while he was on an earlier investigation that made him paralyzed from the neck down. The scene then switches back to present day, showing the killer posing as a taxi driver and finding his first victims, a couple named Alan and Lindsay Rubin. After Amelia Donaghy has careful investigation with Lincoln Rhyme on the bone and piece of paper, they find out that the piece of paper is actually a clue to the whereabouts of the murder’s next victim. Without further ado, they rush to the location where the killer plans to kill Lindsay Rubin. Even though their prediction was accurate, it was already too late to rescue Lindsay Rubin. After finding the body of Lindsay Rubin, Amelia Donaghy finds a bone removed from the victim lying next to another piece of paper. Discussing the matter with Lincoln Rhyme, they quickly find the next place that the killer is planning to murder another victim. With no luck, they find that the killer has already accomplished his task and left yet another clue. Steven Crook’s, the husband of the victim returned home that same day in the afternoon. Mr. Crook contacted the police after not being able to find his wife and noticing that his home had been ransacked. A fisherman discovered Mrs. Crook’s body in the river that same afternoon.

The next day at work Beckwith confronts Bobby in the men's room. Beckwith says even if he did kill Evers, there's nothing Bobby or anyone else can do about it. She is the one who killed Pomerleau, and she started killing others as well. She set up Ajax and placed evidence in his car that would get him interrogated. McGee is holding someone hostage, and threatening to kill them. While Detective Ryan is asking her questions to get her to let the hostage go, it is revealed that McGee has Stockholm Syndrome. She had fallen in love with her kidnapper even though she was tortured by her. She got caught off guard and is arrested. The book has a happy ending, with detective Ryan proposing to Dr. Brennan at a dinner.
