“American Civil War is also termed as the “war between the states” . The war erupted for four consecutive years (1861-1865). The civil war started as the war that was between the United
States or northern America and eleven southern states or southern America. The difference between southern and northern parts of the United States developed due to the social, political and cultural belief differences between the two sections. The differences let the northern part of
United States remain more and more industrialized while the southern part became a predominantly agrarian part. Tariffs, taxes, states’ rights and human rights in northern America are different from those of the south due to the civil war between northern and southern. The

It was not right for the South Americans to continue with slave labor due to the reason that most of the slaves were mistreated at the factories and the plantations. During the 1840s and 1850s potato famine, most of the immigrants from Germany and Ireland migrated to North America. The immigrants were employed in various institutions at a lower wages. The payments that immigrants received were low, but it was not considered as slavery due to the reason that they were employed by their choice.
States rights triggered the civil war. States rights are the struggle between the federal government and the sole states over the political powers. The federal government was trying to practice to regulate or abolish the slavery in the individual state The regulation of the slavery trade was supposed to be regulated by the federal government due to the reason that federal government was right and besides it was the bigger institution as compared to the individual states.
In the 1830s the power of those who were against the slave trade was higher compared to those who were supporting slave trade. The claim for the obedience to the higher law of obedience to the existing constitutions showed that refugee in one can be termed as a refugee in all states. Therefore, slavery was not supposed to be practiced in individual states. The states that were practicing slavery were not adhering to the constitution; hence they were frustrating the federal

In 1860, election, the northerners supported Abraham due to the reason that Abraham was fighting for the human rights that was being violated especially at South America plantation. Abraham Lincoln was right to campaign against the human rights violation since the slavery trade was displaying bad picture for America at large.
Conclusion
In conclusion, the base of the civil war was not justified and can be considered as a primitive base. Americans were not supposed to conflict due to the slavery issues. Instead they were supposed to collaborate and abolish slavery. America is a super power nation; hence it should act as a good model to other nations such as the developing nations. The drift between the North America and South America will take ages to gap due to civil war. Therefore, it is the duty of the future of the current and future governments to unite the two sections of
Between the Northern and Southern sections of the United States there was a lot of differences and they developed along different lines. The South stayed predominantly agrarian in their economy while the North became more industrialized as time went on. Different social cultures and political beliefs began to develop. It eventually led to disagreements on issues like taxes, tariffs and internal improvements as well as states’ rights versus federal rights.
The United States was, at one point, not united like it is today. People had different views and lifestyles in the 1800's. A person's beliefs differed whether that person lived in the north or south. The north and south developed a few social, economical, and political similarities and differences. To begin, the north and south had some opposing social cultures.
Many years ago, America had two distinct regions known as the North and the South. Although these two regions were apart of the same country, they did not share many similarities. In fact, these regions had many significant differences that set boundaries between Northern and Southern states. These differences included their geographies and climates, economies, and societies and transportation.
The Civil War began in April of 1861 and came to an end in 1865. It was a U.S war fought between the Northern and Southern States. Although there were various controversial differences, there wasn’t only one reason that pushed the outbreak of war. What caused the Civil War? The United States was divided by geographical lines, modernization, and slavery.
Over 150 years, the Civil War had been the bloodiest war in the American history, also known as “The War Between the States” or “Brother Against Brother”, it was fought between the Union or the United States of America and the Confederate States of America. The war lasted four years from 1861 to 1865. What motivated these men to fight and what is the cause of the Civil War is a subject that many historians tried to find out.
The Civil War was caused by the election of Abraham Lincoln, racial tension, and problems with people’s rights.
From the beginning of the formation of this nation, there were differences growing between the Northern and Southern halves of the nation in an economic standpoint. The North and South had little to no relation between each other. The North provided multiple factories while the South was mainly agricultural. The South had so much distaste
Debates over which powers were rightly the states and rightly the federal governments were already tense and the question of whether slavery should or shouldn’t exist in the new territories of America, added on to the already strained relationship between the two sides. Document A describes this situation as a cup on the edge of the shelf, certain things almost pushing it over the edge such as the addition of new states being free or under a slavery economy. Many compromises were formed to try and keep states’ rights as well as keep power for the government. The south wanted to assert their authority over the federal government so they could abolish federal rights they didn’t support, this was
The civil war is an important event in the history of the United States. It began on April 12, 1861, when Confederate General opened fire on Fort Sumter, South Carolina, and lasted until May 26,1865, when the last Confederate army surrendered . All aspects of the war have been a topic of concern to the academic community, especially in the United States. In my opinion, the civil war not only important for American, but also important for the world. Here I will show you the main causes of the Civil War.
During the eighteenth century, the Northern and the Southern regions of what became the United States, were significantly different in terms of their economics, labor, social structures, and religion. The economics differed because the North had more money and the South relied solely on selling, trading, and bartering. Labor differed because the North had fewer crops that needed around the clock attention compared to the South, which was heavily reliant on agriculture, and where every crop required special attention. The social structure differed because the North had a higher immigrant population than the South. An important difference in religion between the colonies was that African Americans in the North were allowed to pray while African Americans in the South were not. The past choices the North and the South have made has led to what the states are today.
The Civil War was caused by the idea of States’ rights, the hypocrisy of the United States in its celebration of ‘Independence Day’ while slavery existed, and the election of President Abraham Lincoln.
Before the Civil War started, the North and the South argued on two main topics: slavery and state rights. In my opinion, it was because of slavery that state rights were argued. When Western territories were annexed from Mexico, they were admitted to the Union with the condition that that slavery be banned through the Wilmot Proviso (History.com). Because of this, slave states felt they were unfairly treated and outnumbered. The religious fervor of the Second Great Awakening also gave way to new ideology. Combined with the growing abolitionist sentiment, Northern states began taking action against Southern states. Because their rights as
A Civil War is a battle between the same citizens in a country. The American Civil War was fought from 1861 to 1865 to determine the independence for the Confederacy or the survival of the Union. By the time Abraham Lincoln was elected president in 1861, in the mist of 34 states, the constant disagreement caused seven Southern slave states to their independence from the United States and formed the Confederate States of America. The Confederacy, generally known as the South, grew to include eleven states. The states that remained devoted to the US were known as the Union or the North. The number one question that is never completely understood about the Civil War is what caused the war. There were multiple events that led to the groundbreaking, bloody, and political war.
Many causes led to the Civil War. This all happened around the mid 1800s. It was a conflict between the Northern and Southern states. Both sides had their own view on slavery, and their separate views caused contentions between the two. Both had different views on whether to expand or stop slavery growth to the West, or have slavery at all.
The American Civil War took place from 1861-1865 was an inevitable event in the American history. More than 640,000 people were killed and millions more were injured during this massive war. The civil war was between the northern and the southern states where its most leading cause was slavery. Along with that, economic, political and social ideologies caused the civil war. The northern states, also known as the union, were more successful and antislavery compare to the southern confederates states. The northern states were more populated, had more industries, and believed in the Declaration of Independence statement that “all men are
