The achievements that he accomplished during his life will most likely never be equaled. He went from being a husband and father to being a soldier to becoming president of the United States. Along with contributing to his time period, his legacy continued and went on to influence other great presidents. Theodore was not able to have a typical childhood because he suffered from many illnesses and asthma. His father pushed him into sports, thinking it would make him healthier and help him get rid of his sicknesses. He started to practice rigorous physical activities such as boxing and weightlifting and they ended up helping with his asthma.
