The UT Southwestern application timeline is as follows: The time from January-May is recommended for taking the MCAT; Primary and Secondary applications must be submitted as soon as possible after June 1st; in August the interview season begins; October 1st is the deadline for all applications submitted through TMDSAS (the Texas Application Service); Rolling admissions begin November 15th, in Late Winter/Early Spring decisions for medical schools must be finalized; by May 15th all offers should be resolved; and finally by June 1st no more offers will be given by medical schools. The admitted overall GPA range is 3.6 to 4.0 and the overall admitted Sciences GPA range is 3.54 to 4.0. The median incoming GPA range is 3.88. The median MCAT score is 35 out of 45 points. My final undergraduate investigation was with Clarion University. I wanted to make sure that I wasn’t passing over a respected college that isn’t too far from home. The average room and boards for this college is $10,576 and the extra supplies and fees costs $4,018. The total tuition for a year is $6,820. When looking at your application they consider your strength within your high school curriculum, your grade point average, high school class rank, SAT and ACT scores, and recommendations. They require a course load of four mathematics, three lab sciences, four english, four social studies, and two foreign languages. To be enrolled with the honors program you have to require a minimum of a 3.64 GPA or a SAT score of 1150. Overall their average SAT score is 1390. This college is close to home, which I’m not entirely sure I want to be far away from ("Admissions Requirements.").

During my Senior year, I plan to apply to the University of Texas at Austin on an academic and athletic scholarship. I will be seeking my degree as a sports medicine physician. I will be trying to get into the University of Texas by having really high grades and being top 6% in my class. I am really interested in Elms College because of their nursing program. I have always wanted to be a nurse. I have read a lot of reviews on Elms College and how amazing their nursing program is. Most of those reviews helped me realize that I wanted to go to Elms College so I can get nursing education. The professors seem really friendly and helpful as that was said in the reviews. I currently do not have any additional information to add onto my TMDSAS application nor do I have any alterations to my proposed coursework or graduation date. On my TMDSAS application, I have placeholder courses listed for the Spring 2017 semester as I have not registered for courses for Spring 2017 yet. For that semester, if scheduling works out, I plan to take a Seniors Honors Reading Course to earn my Collegium V and Biology Honors, Molecular Biology Lab, 2 Honors Courses (one in Neuroscience and the other in a Sociology course), and an Upper Level Biology Elective.

I read the Syllabus and it was a lot to take in. The office hours are during BIO class and I won't be able to make it to any of them, but I do plan of making appointments and paying attention to the online office hours. Because Medical Schools in Texas don't round up, you either get an A of B, I am really striving for an A. I know it's going to be very challenging, but I hope that with the help from you and my peers I can succeed. Moreover, I really have hard time understanding how to balance equations, distinguishing substances, and basically anything with equations (element equations). Although medical schools are not solely interested in science majors, it is important that the student take the required courses in order to gain acceptance into medical school upon recieving a Bachelor's degree. Many pre-med students study vigourously and maintain grade point averages of 3.5 and above.
