Scholarship is offered in many different ways and to many different students. A scholarship could be acquired for athletes and for many academic reasons. They offer a 340 student grant for the students in the veterinarian. The career choice, I´m trying to head into is a veterinarian or DMV it deals with the well being of animals and animal care. The degree that is required is a bachelor's and there is no certificate required. The veterinarian program is a 4 year program with the first 3 years in class and labs and the last in core rotation in the hospital with hands on time. The number of students in the vet program is around 576 students admitted on to the program. The main reason is it’s location, it's in the same state I live in so tuition is lower and it's not a far trip away from home. Another reason is the track record for the school it has one of the highest veterinarian programs in the country. The school has all the right tools to help become the best veterinarian.

I chose NDSU because I feel like I was pretty well acquainted with the campus during my time in high school. Each summer, for FFA, my chapter, along with others from across the state, spent a week here competing in different agricultural competitions. Also, I talked with alumni from this nursing program, and they all said it was set up very well, and also put them on a track to getting a good job afterwards. When I came for a tour earlier this spring, I got to hear a speech from the Dean of nursing, and I just sort of felt like this was the right place. On a side note, I like being here because of the agricultural side of NDSU as well, even if I’m not necessarily going into a field pertaining to it. It seems more like home to me, when the person next to me, going into Vet Tech, rides horse as much as I did.

I chose Virginia Tech for a few reasons which included The College of Natural Resources and Environment, the Appalachian Mountains, and being known as Hokie. The college of Natural Resources and Environment is nationally ranked and known worldwide for their academics and field studies. Virginia Tech was one of the few colleges in the area that offered Wildlife Conservation as a major and I was set on my major since freshman year of high school. My cousin, Mark Jones, who is the head biologist of the Black Bear population for the East Coast attended Tech and I am striving to follow in his footsteps. I enjoy how the programs is hands on and competitive to all students in the program. I am alongside of students, graduated and not graduated, who

There are education and experience requirements to start a career as a veterinarian. Most veterinarians complete around four years of undergraduate education and receive a bachelor’s degree before applying to a DVM program. Undergraduate courses taken should heavily emphasize focus on biological and physical sciences. Other studies that can be beneficial to a veterinarian’s career are communication, humanities, mathematics, and social science. A veterinarian must graduate from a veterinary school with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or a Veterinary Medical Doctor (VMD) degree. Even though getting a bachelor’s degree is not a requirement, it can highly increase the chances of acceptance. It is often the best choice to earn your bachelor’s degree because of extremely competitive admission rates with DVM programs. Nonetheless, all DVM programs still require
Going to college, is where your journey in life really begins. Choosing the right college for you is one of the biggest decisions you make in life. I choose California Baptist University to enhance my studies, meet people pursuing the same passion as I am, and become closer to God.
A personal first on the college checklist is population size, classes with an average of twenty students or less are most desirable to me. Over the years small schools have become the norm, and moving to a college of the same nature would make the transition much easier. IIt would also ensure that I learned well in all of my classes. It’s very easy to be lost in the crowd while in a class full of a hundred other students and there is
Since the 8th grade, colleges were the only thing on my mind. The criteria are location, curriculum, internship rates and classroom sizes. George Washington University's prime location gives its students a large several internship opportunities. My goal of working for the government or an international corporation was a huge factor in my choice of GWU. I fell in love with the rigorous curriculum. The classes are small enough to become familiarized with your professors and vice versa. College/Universities with a large student body lose a great deal of networking opportunities due to lack of personalization of students and the academic staff. In my opinion, college is not only for education, but for exploration as well. With over 400 clubs and
In my conclusion I’ve come to realize that going to college is one of the best decisions you can make in your life and finishing college is an even grateful feeling, in my spare time I talk and advice my friends to go school and get a better education because it can help you in the long run, so I won’t be a dummy ill stay in school and now I’m following my own advice.
