This is inasmuch as people always tend to find a more convenient solution to address their problems. Through the years technology has been evolving increasingly, from flip phones to smartphones to watches used as phones, type writers to laptops to touch screen laptops and radios to basic televisions to big screens to flat screens and on to smart screens. Growing up, I would often spend time watching many hours of television. As a teenager, I also would begin spending more time on phone; talking, texting and video chatting. In today the world, the internet is highly influential, and is filled with a plethora of information about many things. For a long time, phones and the internet have become very problematic because of the lack of communication. Because technology may have a negative effect, it can lead to an overload from the media, to phones hindering writing skills and online communication can affect face to face communication.

Technology is an essential part of our life. The use of technology can be seen in almost every aspect of our daily routines. Despite some people’s belief that technology is progressively destroying humanity, it is evident that technology’s advancements have greatly benefited humankind due to its contributions to improving education, health, and communication.

Technology is as much of a distraction as it is an asset. It took me 30 minutes to begin this essay because my phone is right next to me, and I got a text. A single message turned into a full conversation along with an update on multiple social media apps. I was annoyed with my phone because it distracted me from my essay, but how could I stay mad at something so important to me? Without my phone I doubt I could be a functioning adult. I couldn’t have bought my Starbucks this morning, I used the mobile app, and I couldn’t have boarded my plane, my boarding pass was sent to my email, and I couldn’t have called an Uber to get back to school.

Therefore, technological usage deserves to be praised instead of discredited.

Today’s technology makes it simple for students to learn from anywhere through online education and mobile education, which improves the education system. It also improves the health system, most hospitals have implemented modern technology in surgical rooms, which may reduce the number of mistakes made by doctors. Modern technology’s more convenient than when it was simpler because, it provides an easy way to access information, improves the education system, and it improves the health system.

The evolution of technology has changed society in both positive and negative ways. People all over the world use and benefit from modern technology. Technology has simplified the access to many tools people need in education, medicine, communication, transportation, etc. However, using it too often has its drawbacks as well. In most cases, the time of finishing projects is cut by more than half with the help of technology. Many people do not realize that technology has its negative affects society as well, and its rapid advances has changed life for worse in a number of different ways.

This would indicate there would be an increase of females working within the technology field, and this rapid change in the way we as humans communicate would indicate the information age demands parents to be consistently up to date with the latest innovations of technology. Both genders would have to be aware of basic computing knowledge, the home would require internet access and parents would be required to be at an above average understanding of word processing.

But if you really look, see with depth, all the labor and quality of the work put into a result, you have the key components to judge that outcome far beyond just black and white. But if you make use of all the benefits of technology, not just use it to escape boredom or as a distraction, you can find how much science inspires humanity and empowers brains to make a society better as a whole. In the novel Fahrenheit 451, the author displays a slippery slope and overuse of technology, but instead, if the people used temperance, the technology could have succored them and allowed them to use their intuition and intellect to turn technology into an item used to engage and dream up creativity. While most people believe that technology has taken a turn for the worst and destroyed imagination; ultimately with responsibility and prudence, technology can connect mankind, create innovation, and oblige people to imagine inventions that allow us to empower and strengthen everyone.

The value of wanting to learn new things, to add diversity to our lives, is what strives humanity to continue onwards the road to innovation and progression. It is embraced and enhanced by millennials, who scour the internet exploring different opinions, ideas, cultures, and more. Critics brand the millennial generation with the stereotype of being too dependent on technology due to the generation’s prolonged and frequent uses of phones and computers; however, it is due to this criticized heavy usage of technology that allows millennials to explore a variety of subjects without end and becoming more open-minded with the diversity of information.

The development of technology is upon the many fields of knowledge, including historical, language learning, mathematical, etc. Every single moment of our day is affected due to the inventions of years ago, from turning on a light switch to cooking breakfast. An invention that still affects us today and will continue to do so is a computer. Although the computer continues to modernize as time goes by, it has positively impacted the way a student’s technology literacy knowledge and skills are developed for professional success.

Stop where you are. Look around. No matter where you are there’s some type of digital technology around. Either it’s a phone, a computer, or even a television, we are surrounded by modern day digital technology. Everyday, even among our daily routines, we are checking our phones, getting distracted by the TV, or browsing the web when we get bored. It seems like the more technology is getting advanced, the more we are getting dependent on technology. And with new advances, come new problems.
