As we all know the internet has had a dramatic impact on pop culture and technology. Every day, bands blow up through social media, YouTube stars emerge, bloggers sign book deals and wannabes strive for their big virtual break. In this fragmented digital universe, there is a seemingly endless audience for new ideas and becoming a “celebrity” is within anyone’s grasp. But the challenge faced by those working in the creative industries is how to harness this energy and spin it into something real. Technology offers the chance to improve audience engagement, offer better customer service and generate innovative ideas. But it can only truly alter taste once it has impacted on how culture is produced and consumed – and once we all become comfortable
The 1980’s was an adventurous decade full of a new general seeking to find themselves through materialistic objects with open mindedness towards all things music and fashion. The 1980’s introduced many revolutionary fads to society. Popular culture had an impacting effect on the fashion and social aspects of the decade. The 80’s, otherwise known as the “me generation” or “decade of materialism”, was a time of constant change, which showed tremendously in the fashion, music and social aspects of everyday living.(Mckeage) Coming out of the 70’s, the United States had been through a pugnacious depression and war time economy, making the thirst for spending money on luxuries and personal interest appreciable. ”They had been working together for
Part 1 The way people perceive taste is impacted by a number of factors. These include, but are not limited to, age, weight, hormones, sickness and disease, smoking, and diet. Diet is the factor that this paper focuses on. Diet is impacted by the way people taste in that people are used to eating a certain amount of additives and preservatives. Some eat a very low amount, while for others, everything they eat contains additives and preservatives. There is a large range, but this paper will be focusing on two sides: people who eat a moderate to high amount of additives and preservatives in their daily life —this group will be referred to as Group 1—and people who eat very little to none—this group will be referred to as Group 2.
The 1980s started out like every other decade. There were new trends, music, and culture. But there was something about the 80s that set it apart from any other decade. It was the way its culture weaved it’s way into people’s hearts, and minds. The 80s soon became symbolic in many ways. It showed that women could go into the workforce and get high educations, technology was about to revolutionize the world, and the culture was even bigger and better than before. Pop Culture in the 1980s can be summed up as trend setting and iconic because many things that were relevant during the decade are still around and or cherished today by many people. So let’s take a trip down memory lane and go back to a time to the 1980s.
I feel some suffer more do to cultural or age demographics. Some cultures are more focused on literacy rather than technology. This can also be seen in the older generation compared to the youth of today who can’t wait for the next greatest IPhone or IPad. Fear of great intimidating factor as well, people are just more comfortable with doing what they know correctly rather than taking the chance and getting it wrong. So unless it’s an absolute must most will either avoid or delay the use of advanced technological equipment.
Relevant to the role of content editor and marketing, I recognise that artist, brands and award programmes respectively, are searching for ways to expand their global scope of their brands as well as growing their digital audiences throughout key social networks. The instant availability of music content and visual digital content on social platforms provide artist with greater opportunity to reach audiences. The trend of ‘freebies’ and direct artist-to-fan communication is a powerful marketing tool; stints involving artists giving gifts to fans, including supporters in music videos, having exclusive performances where the artist is in arms reach of the fans are examples of this.
Since the rise of the digital age, technology has revolutionized transportation, education, and communication all around the globe. Third world countries now have the ability to treat diseases and educate their students using the internet. Technology allows us to better use our food, knowledge, and transportation. But not all of this development increases our ability to grow. In the colonial times of America, before technology became so prevalent, people knew the value of hard work and determination. Even when situations provided difficult outcomes, the settlers knew that they had to work in order to survive. Nowadays, we can cook food in a microwave, receive information instantly, and travel halfway across the globe in a few hours. If people from the twenty-first century switched places with the early American settlers, very few of today’s technological giants would survive.
Since its publication in 1954, J.R.R. Tolkien’s trilogy The Lord of the Rings has embedded itself in popular culture. From influencing other fantasy works to being referred to in television, there is no doubt that The Lord of the Rings is here to stay. The Lord of the Rings is one of the best-known book series of all time, which is reflected by the impact it has had on pop culture. Among the areas of popular culture that had influence from The Lord of the Rings is music. Many different rock bands such as Rush and Led Zeppelin used themes and allusions from The Lord of the Rings in their songs. However, it was not only rock music that was influenced by Tolkien’s work. Folk music and even rap music today include associations to the trilogy. By discussing Led Zeppelin’s song “The Battle of Evermore”, Sally Oldfield’s series of songs entitled “Songs of the Quendi”, and Vision’s “5 AM in Toronto (Freestyle), this paper will show the ways in which The Lord of the Rings has influenced music across generations and genres, as well as its larger pop culture influence throughout the years using music as a jumping-off point.
Over the last half century, the world has changed dramatically. Through many different movements and conflicts along with the battles to overcome them and find peace and prosperity, the people in this country could grow and change the world as we know it.
Shiva is NOT a sympathetic character at all in the story because of the way he acted. He was switched at birth because this man and woman wanted rich to be poor and poor to be rich. Maybe if Shiva had his birth rights he would have acted different. When Shiva was a poor boy he was very mean to all the other kids and even grown ups.
I think there are struggles in every walks of life and will have them no matter what. Technology today may enhance or hinder the struggles one may go through especially a celebrity. 40+ years ago when my Idol-Elvis Presley was in great demand he had the struggles with keeping up with the new genres that were emerging in the 60's and 70's such as the British Invasion and the hard rock music. Staying relevent is a big struggle-luckily for him he is just as relevent today as it was 40-50 years ago because he was real, raw talent who could actually sing, even though he had silly movies he had the ability to make a silly picture speak to his audience and of course he was easy on the eyes. Some do not even get

In addition to creating open forms of communication and direct access to consumers’ opinions and reactions, advancing social and visual technology delivers access to technologically advanced, eye-catching, and interesting design and media tactics formerly available only to the tech savvy generation. The internet has transformed the globe and it’s lasting presence is inevitable, proving that to discount social media’s new but important role will ultimately lead to failure in the long term.

Biologist indicate that the most common food born bacteria present are Campylobacter, Salmonella, Listeria, Clostridium, Vibro, and S. aureus.
