Team Work Memo

The purpose of this memo is to communicate expectations of all group members in order to complete the Informative Team Presentation assignment by the assigned due date. In short, all members should be expected to respond to all forms of communication, contribute equal amounts of effort, and complete tasks to the best of their abilities.

At my setting where I work we always try to work as team and it is a big help for each other, meaning for ourselves. All colleagues needs help all the time but they won’t ask for it all the time I think where ever we work we need to think about other people’s needs this is how they will understand your needs and someone will help you when you need help.

This week, the readings touched on issues relating to resistance and social change. Martinez explains how the U.S. has struggled to see issues of race beyond just Black and white. She also stresses the importance of including other races when speaking on these issues. Hernandez argues that the mainstream feminist movement fails to include minority and low-income women and the issues they face. She states that the movement only benefits white middle class women. Collins explains how people’s ideas and behaviors actualize other people’s inequalities. She says comparing levels of oppression is a competition for attention and instead we should use a new mentality that interlocks these inequalities. Harris

How are you? The following is my weekly update and some final thoughts about the co-op at MRC Medical Communications.

Next, the barriers that exist in group communication are premature evaluation of ideas, poor physical surroundings, too many people, poor timing, and stinking thinking. The different ideas made from the group need an evaluation at a certain time; this is done only after all the ideas have been made from the group. Poor physical surroundings can be a problem for group disruption in communication. In some cases the room could be too hot, too cold, too noisy, not adequate enough seating and lack of technological needs for the group to function. Cristina the RT placed patient on transport vent. RN left with the patient while Cristina pushed the 840 vent. RN reported that the patient began Brady and desaturating she started bagging the patient. RT called to the bedside IR and RT made sure vent was functioning correctly. High peak alarm was displayed. Patient’s procedure was cancelled and the patient returned to bedside. Clinical specialist Raven and Manager Laura notified transport vent was taken to out of service sent to BIOMED. Breina ran a service check in which found that the high pressure alarm was malfunctioning. Brena communicated via email and verbal with Risk, director of respiratory to inform them of the situation. Transport Vent sent to company for service.

The Front Desk is important to the 318 Commons Community because it is representative for UMR, an information center, and gives a sense of security. Although 318 Commons provides housing for residents that do not attend UMR, it is still a major representation of the UMR students. 318 Commons is a great place for UMR students to live at. I have lived in 318 Commons for two years now and I love how everyone living around my apartment are my schoolmates. Personally, I have experienced the help the Front Desk is able to provide residents. Not only do the Front Desk assistants do everything they can to help a resident, they do it in a comfortable and respectful manner. I never hesitate to ask the Front Desk questions that I have regarding 318 Commons. I always feel welcomed to approach these assistants.

I am sorry friends, I was on an unplanned spring vacation to St Louise on last Thursday so I couldn't join you guys for skype call. I want to meet you guys before Wednesday class to understand the project and be on the same page. Please let me know if anyone of you can meet me today after 8:30 PM or tomorrow 6 PM in library.

This assignment is a reflective account on what I have learnt on the subject of partnership working in both group meeting and overall learning of the module in Lecture and Seminar, and how this knowledge could be applied to my future practice in health and social care. In the environment today, it is not unusual to see people working in teams to accomplish certain goals and tasks. During our youth, parents and teachers encourage us through various methods to work as part of a team. Whether a sports team, classroom team, or after school activities, parents and teachers and other authority figures start the introduction of working in teams and teaching the value of being able to work together to accomplish a common goal. As people progress through the various stages of their lives, everyone continues to strive to communicate. Communication is a part of everyday life. It may be overlooked in some areas, but when dealing with a team environment, communication is vital. One

This about how to work with groups and other team members, most of the time it is hard to do but with our jobs nowadays we have to do what we have to do. I like working with others for the most part, especially when they are motivated in getting the job done in a timely manner. Then we have some that just don’t want to help but want everybody else to do their work for them.
