Taking The Plunge
Being bold requires that we take the plunge. That we are willing to make hard decisions. We are willing to eliminated events, things and even people in our daily lives that are creating negative experiences and are holding us back. It takes courage. However, your happiness and future success depends on your skill to recognize the difference between these negative and positive in your life and your ability to take immediate action to weed through them. Go back to the example of the farmer. Dandelions may be cute, like little flowers, but they are weeds and weeds need to be removed from your garden or they will destroy your garden by summers end. Your measure of success will be based on your bold decisions you make today.
Today is what you have in your life. What you do with could revolutionize everything. It’s the

Today is your day. You are the protagonist of this day. You may use it or lose it. It could become the center of your entire life. Do not fear today. Be bold, let go of anything does not count in your life. Today will never come again.
Success comes to thinkers and action takers. Those who live in the now. Who take advantage of today. One thing that history has taught us is that all great doers were and are thinkers. Think about your day. Make sure you have a definite purpose everyday. Plan your day accordingly. Take steps that lead you closure to your goals and dreams. Organize your ideas. Plan you actions for the day, hours even down to the minutes when you can.
Napoleon was a thinker. He studied the streets of Paris. He thought out his best moves for the following day. You can accomplish the same thing. Maximize your time and effort by thinking through your ideas and goals. Plan for the following day. Bold individuals know they are responsible for your own thoughts and actions. Start ever day with the boldness and courage to think about each action you will engage in today. Then
Having the desire to be successful is one thing but without the doing the little things you will never get there. Successful people are committed to doing something every single day. Regardless of what is going on in their lives they work on their craft. They overcome the daily battle between procrastination and motivation. Every day, most people have a list of things they want to do; need to do; or should do; and what they don’t want to do. It’s these daily choices that are influenced by our discipline and
For the rest of my life there are two days that will never again trouble me. The first day is yesterday with all its blunders and tears, its follies and defeats. Yesterday has passed forever bye my control. The other day is tomorrow with its pitfalls and threats, its dangers and mystery. Until the sun rises again, I have no stake in tomorrow, for it is still unborn. With God's help and only one day to concentrate all my effort and energy on, this day, I can win! Only when I add the burden of those two frightening eternities, yesterday and tomorrow, am I in danger of faltering under the load. Never again! This is my day! This is my only day! Today is all there is! Today is the rest of my life and I
ATTITUDE: Always have a positive attitude. Remember success is 10% ability and 90% attitude! If you think that you can achieve, then you can achieve.
" You are today where your thoughts have brought you; you will be tomorrow where your thoughts take you. "- James Allen
I go bold by pushing myself to do actions that might be outside of my comfort zone to achieve my goals. An example of this was when I decided to apply to be a US Senate Page. When I was growing up, I was reserved and didn’t typically start
Ladies and gentleman, we are gathered here to push the human race forward. We believe that by improving the educational system we are investing in our future, that everyone should be able to access the type of education that is right for them. Nowadays America faces a very distressful situation regarding the educational reach of our system, which has been engaged with several issues, such as unequal access to education, student dropouts, violence within the walls of the classroom, bullying, gender bias and standardized tests that put the educational community at the verge of a methodic and old fashion evaluation process which eventually lead to a particular lifestyle of the students. Also, the lack of interest in the matter of community service has been rising, as well as our concern for the safe keeping of the citizen’s humanitarian values.
Being an ordinary American citizen, I was affected greatly from this period of time of harsh war. Thousands of men were drafted into the war. Since I am a women, I was allowed to have a larger role in the workforce in place of the men who were fighting for the United States. However, older children had to step up and help their families by doing household chores. ("Impact on Soldiers”). My career as a business manager skyrocketed throughout this period. Other women also participated in community service jobs, such as nursing and the Red Cross which benefitted society. Many female jobs were created due to the war, such as waitressing. ("Social Effects of the War”). The impacts of the war on American women are extremely significant and helped
Too often we get bogged down in our past, and in memories of events that we think define us and restrict us from moving forward. The truth is that we can decide today who we want to be. We may have some baggage, and we may have future dreams, but today is the only day where we can define who we are and what direction we want our lives to go.
Today is different than yesterday because now I’m in the present. Yesterday is now the past. I can change tomorrow, but not yesterday.
My life began in Bialystok, Grodno Governorate which is now Poland. Shortly after my birth my family and I moved to Kiev and I would eventually attend and graduate from Kiev Art School in two years. In that same year, I married a Kiev lawyer named Nicoloas Evgenievish Ekstar and moved to Paris for several months and studied at Academeie de la Grande-chaumiere in Paris, I was expelled for not following their artistic ideas. I would later on meet Pablo Picasso, Guillaume Apollinaire, Max Jacob and Fernand Léger in Paris and would become inspired by cubism. (“The reduction of natural forms to their geometrical equivalents, and the organization of the planes of a represented object independently of representational requirements.”) The Cubism movement would have inspired my first exhibit (publicly display (a work of art or item of interest) in an art gallery or museum or at a trade fair.) in Kiev and later on St. Petersburg called “Exhibition of New Currents.” Within the same year, I organized an Impressionistic (a person who follows or adhees to the theories, methods, and practices of impressionism) learning called “zveno” (“link”) with David Burlyuk, Mikhail Larionov, Natalya Goncharova. I would later move back to Paris, rent my own
Success needs time. It does not happen at once. What you do today will determine the results in your future. If you change your present, you change your future. If you eat a lot of pizzas and delicious food today, you will gain weight, and this will show in your future weight. If you spend more money than what you earn today, you will have less money in the future.
My philosophy of success is simply being content with your life. To me personality, I still do not know what contentment is to me and that's fine. I can guess it is being independent, with a job I am passionate about and surrounded by people that truly care about me. Success is finding that point in life that, if things stayed like how they are at this moment then it would be alright. I'm not saying to stop improving yourself or that after that point nothing bad or better will happen. People should always try to improve themselves and in reality, bad things will always happen at one point. Therefor my philosophy is to work towards that feeling of contentment. It
We pay a price for everything we get or take in this world. Although ambitions are well worth having, they are not to be cheaply won. Every day is an opportunity to make your life the way you want it to be. Anything is possible when you work towards it one day at a time. Skip a day and you lose momentum. Try to do it all at once and you will burn out. Work steadily and consistently to make every day count and you will reach your goals. Soon, with consistent effort, those little bits add up to major accomplishments. Is there something you want to change? Today is the day to start changing. Is there a new customer you want to land? Today is the day to start making it happen. You control today and you can control your
You don’t have to be sure of every single action but you can’t fear the future or change because in order to accomplish your goal change is often necessary. A bold attitude is a definite must. Leaders will always come against someone or something that opposes what they believe, boldness will give them the strength to keep going even when the people they lead have start to disappear or they have grown weak. At the first that you are ready to give up they will abandon ship as the leader it must be a part of your character to be bold and keep going no matter how hard things may seem. This characteristics tie in with the earlier trait of inspiration. When other see how bold you are they will realize that just maybe if you’re willing to put this much on the line, face the probability of being ridiculed and disowned by your and the rest of society just maybe you stand for something that is right and maybe they should too.
The first step of success is organization.Organization is a very important part of the process leading to success. Therefore, without it you cannot achieve anything. You have to organize your life. By organizing your life it means that you know what you want, you do not get distracted, you have good relations with everybody. This part is very important in the organization step because if you do not have an organize and stable life, it will affect your education. For example, I have a friend who failed his exam because of the problems he had with his girlfriend. After that failure, he decided to forget all and focus on his studies. He got better and passed his exam. The second part of the organization step is the planning. To succeed, you have to have a good use of your time, make sure you do everything you have to do and do not forget anything. For that, you have
