Going to college will set the basis for your career pathway in the future. High school students contemplate that college is not the right choice for them, but there are multiple benefits that come with a college degree. If students decide to attend college, they may considerate it a waste of time and stress. Unlike high school for some, college needs taken seriously. Attending college prepares and gives you knowledge on what to expect when you start the career. Those who attend college are more than likely to get a higher wage job then individuals who decided not to join.

Many people always ask themselves if college is worth it and if it is then why. Sure there are positives and negatives of attending college, but which outcome will be better suited for you and your development. In any case, going to college is the right choice because it not only gives you a higher paying job, but also growth as a human being. The biggest plus to going to college is that it matures you into being an adult, so why skip out on an opportunity that will change your future! In the first place, college will pay off for itself once you graduate.

College is a very important stepping stool to your future, too your life. Others might say it’s not worth the money, that plenty of people were successful without college, I disagree. Only very small hand full of people make it without a degree.

Starting at the young age of four years old to the adult age of eighteen years old, children are required to attend school. As soon as graduation is finished, a student can go on one of two paths: go to college or go into the real world. Neither answer is correct, but the real question is which one will positively benefit someone over the other? I believe that college is not worth the cost due financial reasoning, and it is not as beneficial as promised.

College can still be worth it for many people when they are deciding on their future path. College doesn’t have to be very expensive, there are many scholarships that students can apply for to help reduce the cost. Also, having a college degree will allow the person to have the option for career changes in their lifetime. Some colleges offer work co-op programs,an internship, where the person can get a degree, learn their skill, and make money. This allows them to feel more comfortable in their field, and it helps to eliminate some of their student debt. These are just a few of the reasons why college can still be very beneficial to people, and why college can still be worth it for many people.

There are two ways to look at this topic. One is that college is worth the cost and another view is that college is not worth the cost at all. College is worth the cost. Yes, it can be expensive depending on where the high school graduated would like to attend to earn their degree, but education is something that is worth the cost and very valuable and something one will never lose.

College graduates tend to make more money than high school graduates. Although, this stat might not be for everyone it is for the majority of people. Jobs tend to pay higher if the person has a college degree than if one did not. To be successful people might have to spend money to make money. If someone spends thousands for college for 4 plus years, but in return they are making 56% more money than a high school graduate in the long run it will be worth it. They will have a lot of debt and student loans to pay, but once they pay it off they will start catching up to high school graduate in profit quickly. Many jobs would rather have someone with a college degree than one with just a high school diploma. The stats prove that people tend to make more later on than someone who goes straight into the workforce.
