Taking personal responsibility and paying attention to detail are two very important character traits to have. It is important for civilians to demonstrate these traits but even more important for police officers and police recruits. Police officers and recruits should be held to a much higher standard than civilians because of the position they are in or will be in where they enforce the laws over civilians. They should be a role model for people to follow.
The proposition my group had was yes on 64. A yes vote would allow individuals to be in possession of marijuana outside of medical reasons. My groupmates were Takiyah, Alanna, and Charles. The teacher gave us each the option to have different group roles to keep things organized but we combined all of our roles to make the work ethic faster. The roles were facilitator, recorder, editor, and task manager. These roles each had jobs to keep the group in check or fixing the video. This assignment was basically us using the information we got from the interviews t02o put into a video to inform others that did not obtain the information to vote on this prop. Collectively we produce this ad to get our message out there and make sure it affects people in a good way. It gets them thinking that maybe it is not such a bad idea to legalize it.
Comparing Constructivist and Direct Theories of Visual Perception Two of the main theories of visual perception are constructivist and direct. Gregory is associated with the constructivist theory, while Gibson supports the direct theory. The both theories differ in their explanation of perception, however there are some aspects that relate them. Gregory's theory is a top down theory of perception, in the sense that he considers prior knowledge and experience to be crucially important in making sense of what we see.
Since the project calls for eight pages, the website designer should add links to two more pages in the navigational menu. Additionally, the background color should fill the entire navigational bar and the menu items might appear more orderly if they were centered. Here is a link to a code for centering horizontal navigational elements--http://www.cssnewbie.com/full-width-centered-navigation-bar/#.VwJ17fkrKhc (“Css newbie”, n.d.)
While reading chapter 6, Visual Attention, continued my journey of perception into the “real world” by focusing on the idea that we don’t just passively sit there as stimuli create images of objects or scenes in our eyes. Instead, we direct our attention toward specific objects or locations within a scene and ignore other objects or locations. This process of focusing on specific objects while ignoring others is the process of attention. When we direct our attention to a picture or object, it automatically goes to what stands out. For example, Figure 6.3, my attention is automatically drawn to the guy in the red shirt because he stands out against the background of the crowd.

This mini-class is going to expand a little on what you learned about floats in the RPGDU class and will be introducing more CSS transitions for you to use in your coding. In the last few classes you have been learning about absolute and relative positioning and while this is very useful, it means that elements basically ignore one another within their own structure.
Marco Ophthalmic, Inc. is a private organization in Jacksonville, FL that provides both products and services for the Eye Care Professional (ECP). The products available for the ECP include diagnostic tools and equipment required to run a successful vision care practice. A visual search experiment is a task that requires your attention to be focused on specific thing or object. While doing this, you are actively scanning for a specific feature or object, known as a target, while other features are around the one you’re looking for, also known as a distractor. In the case of the use of this visual search experiment, it was able to bring our attention to how long it takes us to process information and find the specific thing that we were looking for. The first trial included using a feature search, which had all of the distractors in blue.

If your intention is to create an amazing design, not to copy another design, then you must have some CSS. Just save those files before editing them. For instance, you may add the following to the top of your file:
