It was a hot Saturday afternoon, and I was getting ready to go hang out with some friends. I got into an old-fashioned 2011 05 gangster burgundy car, with trap music blasting from the sides. It smelled bad like an old rubbery car should. The seats were beige though it seemed new, and thanks to my luck I ended up squished as a marshmallow. Although it might not have been long, it felt like we were driving across a never-ending road. As soon as we got to the beach I could smell the fresh water and feel the wet sand under my toes. I could hear the sound of waves hitting against each other. As soon as we reached the sandy beach, we changed into our swimsuits, quickly ran to the water and swam our afternoon away. Eventually, Montrose Ave Beach
You see I was thoroughly bored seeing as there was nothing to do but stare out of the window. The radio was playing “I can see Clearly Now”, by some unknown person-It was ironic considering it was raining outside-. My mother was driving, my dad was in the passenger seat, and my three brothers were in the vehicle as well. To either side of us there were fields. We eventually came upon a store, so we stopped there for

I can feel a knot in my stomach, my heart is racing. I can hear giggles from outside the bathroom stall. I feel beyond nervous about walking out in a skintight black Speedo swim suit. I think to myself its not too late to leave. Finally I conquer all the courage I have and walk out the bathroom stall, as I walk out I see where all the giggles came from. I see some familiar faces and some new ones, I feel like all eyes are on me. Every one inside the locker room had on the same type of unflattering swimsuit as me, but yet I couldn’t stop feeling uncomfortable and out of place. I never really wanted to join the swim team I felt stupid and insecure, but my mother thought it would be a good idea. I had played volleyball and
My car was a Toyota Corolla hack back. I loved this car. It was Kelly green with light brown interior. It had no power steering. It was hard to turn. When I would go to my car after school. I would have friends wanted me to take them home. Sometimes my car would be so full of friends. We would ride the hills in Arlington as fast as we could go and being safe. Everyone would raise up in their seats. Oh, how that would laugh and giggle. I loved making them happy and laugh. They would want me
The sound of the beach is peaceful, I can hear the waves crashing on the beach and the boats coming in and going out. The kids running around, building sand castles and giggling, reminds me of how easy it was to be young and makes me want to be younger again. I can hear the seagulls calling for other seagulls and I hear them flying around people begging them for food.
Looking ahead to see New hampshire and to the side to see Main was breathtaking. Both states were beautiful no matter where you looked at them. If only we would slow down to get a better view. Moving, back and forth the state line road with the speed of a cheetah striking its prey. Jerking from left to right, all heads in the car rocking as if they were on a boat. I Was In the back seat of the car so I had a perfect view of the people. My friends, and sister, laughing and singing like there was no tomorrow. Courtney just go their license and was testing it out in our mother 's old minivan. She was a terrible driver. That is where we grew up, in that car. Our family traveled a lot. We even drove to Washington state. There were six of us in the car not including myself. My Older sister Courtney and her best friend Susan were both twenty one, wearing leggings and they 're collage sweatshirts. In the next row, there boyfriends. Mark and Hall. They were british twins with the astounding ability to fix cars that they broke. In the last row, my best friend Jillian, and my boyfriend chase. We were all eighteen.
We felt the chilly water, the warm sand between our toes, and the hot sun beating down on our skin. We would walk around for about an hour until we saw one of our other friends and walk with them or go to the pool and let the cold water of the pool chill are hot skin. We would run to the beach like we were little monkeys running around and playing. After a calm peaceful swim we would go to the beach so we could practice are cheer routine for our 2016 Nationals. After about an hour coach said we could go swimming. Some girls ran in the bright blue, clear, beautiful, and life filled ocean. The half of the girls went to the clear blue, warm, sunny pool connected to the hotel. Sometimes Julia and I would go to the pool and we would stunt in the water. We would throw them out of the water and they would look like a bird flying in the sky doing impressive tricks. Most of the time I would go to the ocean and surf the enormous and glorious waves that shimmered when the sun's rays quickly shined on them to show their beauty. We could hear the whooshing of each wave hit us with a big bang with every person it hit. Each wave would have a glorious amount of sand that look like sparkles from a bath bomb when you would drop it in the crystal clear
The year was 2010. It was mid day in about mid May, meaning scorching hot temperatures raising up to 105-110 degrees fahrenheit in Hyderabad, India. I was riding in a minivan with my dad and our driver. We were headed to visit a relative of ours. The driver was in the driver's seat, driving, while my dad and I were sitting in the back seats.
Sun sizzles on the hot sand the morning began. With a refreshing swim in the blue, murky waters. My team and I lived as ocean lifeguards who had a competition that night. All geared up and ready to go, practicing our perfect paddle slide into the crisp water. Dashing off onto the sand while
The beach was a very tropical the water was very clear and light blue . The sand smooth ,comfortable, and soft . The mountains were beautiful and big .It also had so many tall trees . Lily starts running to the spot where she wants her things and she starts getting ready to surf . As she puts her swimsuit on she sees these 2 boys surfing out at the distance . The beautiful day at Ala Moana beach was crowded with many people enjoying the sunshine. As everyone else was enjoying their day, I was excited to see my uncle who was going to teach me the basics of paddleboarding. When I arrived he was sitting on the wall next to the beach waiting, with everything we needed on his truck. We then started to take all of the stuff to the shoreline of the beach. As I picked up the board that my uncle told me to use it was heavy to my surprise. Where I leaned more to one side when i picked up the board with my right arm, making me unbalanced. My uncle then told me to carry his, which was very light to my surprise because his board was a hybrid of a paddleboard and a surfboard. As I took my first step onto the sand i felt the warmth of the hot sand touch my
In the front of the living room and both large bedrooms were sliding doors that led to a wide balcony that showed the beautiful ocean, beach, and sky. After exploring the condo and all the rooms, my family and I moved on to adventure outside. It was a nice, yet chilly afternoon so we decided to admire the many restaurants and shops. After my grandparents arrived, we had a dinner of amazing, juicy burgers. Next we moved on to explore the beach. The sand was cool, and the small, sharp seashells stabbed at your feet as you walked. We watched the beautiful image of the sun sinking into the pink and orange sky as we felt and smelled the cold salt water against our feet.
Pink, the bright kind that almost blinds you. Ruffled, like that dress your Aunt wore to the family reunion. The Fabric of this coat had been destroyed, ripped in one arm and soda all over the front. The cuffs and the waist of the jacket trailed with a thick striped material that pulled down over my hands on the real cold days.
Most sports have big events. Games, meets, matches. Swimming has meets. And the nerves you get are what I call meet jitters. These are the type of butterflies you get when you are about to race, or before you race. They make you swim faster, and want to throw up. In the end, they are just like any other nerves you get before any big event in general.
I threw my books on the bed and approached the jacket slowly, as if it were a was 1 month old Boxer dog sitting on my bed. I was so happy the jacket that was sitting on my bed was so cool! It was exactly what I wanted.Smooth black leather. Silver clips, buttons, zippers even a little bit of gold paint on some of the zippers.”You jackets in the closet.” My mom yelled. My heart sunk as fast as the titanic. I slowly walked towards the closet. I opened the short white dusty door. I closed my eyes and slowly looked into my closet. I rummaged around to see if there were a different jacket in there. Nope!!! This must be my lucky day.Whoosh I threw the awesome new jacket on. Man I looked as cool as a as biker. I rushed down stairs. When I thanked my mom I smiled ear to ear.
