Fast Food Bites the Dust
Director, Morgan Spurlock, of the documentary “Super-Size me” embarks on a 30-day Mc diet during which he can only eat or drink anything that is on McDonald’s menu; he must eat three meals a day, consume everything on the menu at least once and supersize his meal if asked. The director discloses the terrifying ‘truth’ behind the fast food companies like Mac Donald’s. That terrifying truth is that too much consumption of fast food from any retailer particularly, MacDonald’s, on a daily basis means putting your life on the line.
It is time for us to grasp onto the problems that we all face, which is that fast foods are addicting and it is irresponsible of the fast food chains to ignore that fact. So now it is important for all of us to say no to fast food or minimize the consumption of the …show more content…

This documentary made me question the food I am eating - where does it come from? Is it actually good for my health? However, Scurlock’s most persuasive and memorable technique for me was pathos because I felt really sad for the people who innocently got sucked into the fast food eating epidemic in an addicting way that is as harmful as being a slave to cigarettes or drugs.
Thanks to MacDonald’s and all the other fast food restaurants their greed for money have lead us into as serious as an issue of death. This problem seems endless however, there are many ways to fix the problem, by choosing not to go to fast food restaurants and eating healthy instead. What Scurlock tried to express through his documentary was that its either us or its them, that we should kill Macdonald’s before Macdonald’s kills us.
