For example when Deadpool is in the car crash scene the film over cranks to emphasise the car crash, showcase Deadpool and to set the scene. The director has chosen to over crank the film to make the viewers wonder why the car has crashed and what has happened. It purposely builds tension as the viewers await to see the fate of the people inside the vehicle and await the actions of Deadpool. This is coupled with a very long shot to showcase what has happened and what has yet to happen. The car is completely destroyed with multiple people hanging out of the vehicle. The camera angle is canted which is usually typically to show villains, the canted angle builds tension and makes the audience feel uneasy. The over cranking with the canted angle successfully builds tension within the opening of the movie. This successfully follows the genre conventions by the use of camera angles as it over cranks a dramatic
One of the most famous scenes in film is the beginning where Charles Foster Kane dies after saying rosebud. What makes this scene so great was the camera angle. The snow globe that Kane drops after his death created an angle never before seen. This angle allowed for the intensity of the scene to increase as it emphasizes the nurse running in the room and the broken globe to show Kane’s world as comes crashing down on him. Another interesting camera angle is when Kane is being taken away from his mother where both her and Kane are visible and in full focus. Along with this angle it also has a smooth transition from the angle of the mother and sliding through the window to allow for the new scene. These
Superheroes have been around in the world since as long as we can remember and have become popular day by day, and year by year. The concept of superheroes saving mankind from evil or any other threat has appealed to an extensive amount of the population, especially after what has happened during 9/11. For centuries, man has struggled with the concepts of good and evil and have produced astounding works as a reflection of it. This is ideally the foundation of early fables and folklore dating back to ancient civilizations. Stories about famed heroes and the battle of good and evil woven into extravagant tales of danger, destiny, and triumph. These stories were often assimilated into individual societies, told from generation to generation until eventually finding themselves becoming an integral part of the culture. In 1938, a new era began to emerge known as the “golden age” of superheroes. During the significant changes in American history, comic books contributed information that described what was happening during a specific event. Starting with Superman, battling against the corrupted ceo’s and government politicians to Batman being a juvenile delinquent who eventually became one with the law. Yet with these comic book characters relating to everything around a human beings life, changed the American youth culture in a great way.
Camera angles are like the skeleton of a movie. Without close up shots, over the shoulder shots, and cut-in shots, the movie wouldn't look or feel right. Lets start with the close up shot. The close up shot is a very common shot that helps show the subjects mood or emotions. In one scene of Swing Kids the close up shot is used to show mood in Peter's face when he opened the box full of ashes he was supposed to deliver. A good way to show a conversation between two people is the over the shoulder shot. The over the shoulder is used to look over the shoulder of a subject to look and at the speaker. A

This movie was made for people who love Marvel Comics and the super hero movies they make. Deadpool; however, isn’t your average super hero movie. With Ryan Reynolds type humor and intense fight scenes it makes for an interesting take on what you can consider a hero. Throughout the movie Wade Wilson or Deadpool was given powers to regenerate from brutal treatment for lung cancer. Along with skills he learned while he was part of special forces he combines these powers and saves the love of his life

generate moods, and have great psychological affect. This is just as true for the very first series of shots for the film, and perhaps more important since these first shots will give the audience the initial feeling of the film, and set a tone for the picture. The first shot is highly dramatic in its lighting method, and the audience is drawn in immediately to one single detail. A man begins revealing the details of a tragic incident that befell his daughter. We don’t see who he is talking to. There is a spotlight directly above the man, and this is pretty much

All three of these pieces share the same basic principal that the government is taking over and someone has to step up to the government and make things right. In Divergent the faction leader of Erudite, Jeanine plans on taking all the factions under her control. The citizens living in the faction that are being overtaken are fearful. The audience can see that because of the camera angles in this film help show the fear in the characters eyes due to close up shots. An example of a camera angle is when the main character, Tris was taking her aptitude test to put her in the faction that would fit her best. During that test the director chose to do a close up shot on a knife and a piece of meat. The director chose to do that because he wanted to build the audience's interest and spike the intensity of the film. The director also could have done that close up to make the crowd focus on the knife or meat which is are object not so significant so in order to make the audience realize the significance of the two objects. Another popular camera angle throughout the movie is the over shoulder shot. This shot was used multiple times, however the most memorable moment where there was an over the shoulder shot was inside the Dauntless headquarters. During this scene the audience views Tris’s face on the right side of the screen and her shoulder
1938 saw the first appearance of Batman. More of a mystery comic than a superhero comic book, Batman was inherently different from the pure and clean Superman. He was a gritty and depressing character that has been able to remain in print even to this day. Rather than using superpowers, Batman uses detective abilities that allowed him to solve cases and find perpetrators. (“The History of Comic Books.” TheComicBooks.com.) But not even Batman, Superman, or even Captain Marvel could brace themselves for the arrival of the Marvel comics.
The Silver Age of Comics represents a foreshadowing of the decline in quality and appreciation of comics. My literary journey is not an exciting one, there are no major twists, turns or even bumps in the road. I had no major obstacles to overcome in learning how to read or write. But in a way this journey is a metaphor for so many other things in my life, you will learn in the coming pages of my short attention span, failure to stay motivated and my struggles to remain enthused to learn.
