Residential Case Study In this segment of the case study, Lee had her second meeting with the Abernathy family. When Lee discusses the meeting with her boss, she realizes that she is missing pertinent information. She didn’t realize that she needed to thoroughly document the “project” even though she hadn’t been officially hired yet. I feel like she got carried away. The fact that she proposed to demolish walls and install a playscape area without knowing the cost is very unprofessional. She wasn’t thinking about how her actions would reflect back on her boss, or the company she works for. Lots of experience is needed before a designer should propose major renovations on their own. I feel that Lee should have asked her boss to accompany
Initially we had difficulty obtaining his discharge orders as the hospital care manager replied she had forwarded the documentation, but neither I nor Mrs. Bianco had received a copy. Mrs. Bianco made a visit to Mills Creek and met with Mr. Smith at that time she was made aware of an appointment that Mr. Smith attended. Mr. Smith attended a physician appointment on June 28, 2017 with Dr. Leonard, Orthopedic trauma. Mills Creek assisted with the transportation and a mobile x-ray unit was coordinated to obtain x-rays of the femur at the facility as Mr. Smith didn’t bring his slide board to the appointment and couldn’t get onto the radiology table.
and revised in order for the agency to focus on their objectives. This strategic plans purpose is to streamline the operations and to make the agency profitable in less than one year. In doing so this will enable the agency to provide the best services to its patients and community.

As student liaisons, a thorough financial feasibility assessment to construct and maintain a community center for Osceola County, with two options, is presented in this memorandum. Option one consists of renovating a vacant fire station and partnering with a non-profit organization to share in operating expenditures and using a pay as you go approach to not accrue any more debt for the county. Option two consists of a higher budget allocation and incurring debt through bonds in a capital improvement plan but possibly have a higher “quality of life” community center with various additional amenities. Our goal was to (1) determine the current financial position of Osceola County, (2) determine the costs involved with a new community center, (3) determine potential financing options, and (4) provide recommendations for funding strategies. We analyzed the financial history of Osceola County along with demographics and broke down the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) for the fiscal year ending on September 30, 2014.

In 2010, my cousin went on a hiking trip with her Residential Treatment Center (RTC). On that trip, she collapsed and wasn’t taken to the hospital until a couple weeks later. By that time, we found out that her body was overheated, which caused her to collapse and she was slowly becoming brain dead. She passed away three days after her seventeenth birthday, which would have made it year before she could come back to our family. If only the RTC staff was able to get her to a hospital soon enough, she would have been able to share memories with our family would be able to have a relationship with my cousin. There is an issue with the RTC’s that need to be handled. RTC’s “provide intensive help for youth with serious emotional and behavior problems (Residential)”. There needs to be better communication with the citizens, more drop-ins in the centers and a more thorough application process for the staff at the Residential Treatment Centers in order to give these foster children the care and attention they need.
The reporting party (RP) stated her husband Vernon Ferguson DOB: 11/29/29 was sent to the emergency room due to a frozen shoulder on 3/29/16. This week in field I was able to examine case files for three of the clients within the Bennet Group Home. I also received a pamphlet about the Bennet Group Home that discussed the rules, regulation, and expectations for each client. The Bennet Group Home also received a new client, I got to observe the registration process as the caseworker and therapist worked with the parent and child to complete each procedure involved. Allowing me to enhance my own professional growth and conduct (2.1.1)
When it comes to health there are many health inequities that many individuals face. Chanie’s story is a reminder of the destruction created by the residential schools in which the government supported. A large mass of health influence consists of the Aboriginal’s who were treated unequally and did not have the same opportunity to health care. Chanie, is one of the residential school victims whose short life had involvement with the decrease in health status. The major institution of health from Chanie’s perspective is taken along with the other children upon entry to the schools. The kids, where fed properly, and had a loving home. Unfortunately, the school conditions results in a poor quality of life in correlation to poor health status.

Lisa continued to feel disappointed that Linton did not make time for her. She began feeling like a “fifth wheel.” After six weeks had passed, Benton still had no idea what her goals and objectives were. John Gabarro and John Kotter state, “If the relationship between you and your boss is rocky, then it is you who must begin to manage it.” Instead of depending on Houseworld and relying on Deborah Linton to forward Benton’s career, she should assume leadership and responsibility of her own development and find ways to understand Linton as a manager and her preferred work style to get the information she needs to progress.
The significance of community hospitals such as Community Hospital in Monmouth County, New Jersey, is greater than one may expect for primary and secondary care services provided to the local communities around the United States. Community Hospital’s mission is to provide exceptional primary care. However, with the declination of profitability in primary care, Community Hospital has had to compete with Shore University Medical Center (SUMC) and University Hospital (UH) for revenue restoration. The decline of Medicare and Medicaid reimbursements and the steady progression toward specialty care vs. primary care require a core alteration to the mission statement to adjust to the changes within the current healthcare system. A newly modified mission and vision statement will prove that Community Hospital has the ability to regain its relevance within the healthcare industry as a leading primary care provider in the community and increase its revenue. The implementation of the new mission and vision for Community Hospital is expected to be upheld without compromising the core values of compassion, advancement, reputation, efficiency, and physician integration. A few proposed strategies to help Community Hospital create a new and improved business model, may seem cumbersome and challenging, however could greatly improve the overall direction of Community Hospital.
