The book is mainly about a girl named Patty that has a love at first sight thing with a German prisoner named Anton Rieker. This book is a fictional romance book; because the events that happen in the story are not true, and the story is mainly about their romance. The story takes place in Jenkinsville Arkansas, where nothing much happens until two German prison camps are opened.
