Success Is Impossible To Achieve Success

What is the real definition of success, in fact is there even a definition? Well, in the book Outliers, Malcolm Gladwell it is the story of success. Some successful people are born with talent, and skills. As others may have to put in hard work to get to where they are. Every successful person is different, which means there is no definition for being successful. Being successful is made of many different categories. Many successful people are born with talents, put in hard work, and are different from everyone else.

A success is an aim that is achieved. After you achieve your goal you can reap the benefits of success. Sometimes you can gain wealth and fame. Taylor Swift and Oprah Winfrey, famous celebrities, are seen as successful. They have built a life-long legacy for themselves that ensures that they will be remembered forever. However, not all successes involve world renown. Success can be minuscule to some, but a life changing experience to others. The way I define success is a triumph.

What is a success? Everyone has their own opinion on this question. Each person has experienced various obstacles in their lives. Consequently, everyone has success in different aspects. For instance, a successful student is to be responsible for the one’s academic; a successful mother is to raise her child correctly; a successful businessman is built his money on his own for more investment or business.

Everyone has his own definition of success. For some, success means wealth, power or fame; but for me it means attaining my goals, always giving my best and knowing that I have tried my hardest despite the outcome. Success is not something that reveals itself immediately, it takes time and patience. I would not be the person I am today if I hadn’t received the love and support given to me by my mom and my grandparents. They taught me respect, the importance of family and to believe in myself. Success is about living my best life and being confident about my own decisions.

The definition of success is in the eye of the beholder. More than three-fourths of your life is spent working to become successful. People are told during childhood to work as hard as they can so they can grow up and make lots of money. But the word success can be taken in many different ways. Everyone has a different understanding of what success means to them. Generally, success means fulfilling the goals that you set for yourself. For some, success is measured by popularity and riches; for others success is determined by the amount of happiness that they feel.

Merriam-Webster defines success as the fact of getting or achieving wealth, respect, or fame; the correct or desired result of an attempt; someone or something that is successful; a person or thing that succeeds. The definition of success differs from one person to another. Most people work their whole lives to accomplish their own personal success, in which, everyone views differently. Success among many individuals can be connected with The American Dream, the idea that every US citizen should have an equal opportunity to achieve success and prosperity through work, determination, and initiative.

Success is something we all reach for. As human beings we love accomplishing things and reaching for our dreams. Success is the accomplishment of an aim or purpose, as well as a person or thing that achieves desired aims or attains prosperity. We gain prosperity from succeeding. Succeeding in the workplace, on the athletic field, in the classroom, and on the list goes.

Webster defines success as “achieving wealth, respect, or fame.” However, my definition of success revolves around much more. Personal success, in my opinion, is achieved by the amount of happiness experienced by others around you. Being the good in an otherwise bad day, bringing a smile to a depressed face, or encouraging someone around you to try something new are all ways I feel triumphant.

What is the definition of success? Webster’s dictionary defines success as “satisfactory completion of something.” But my definition of success is having a gratifying sense of achievement by accomplishing goals or targets you are trying to reach or attain. Although there might be multiple interpretations of what success means, I think using time effectively, creating and achieving goals, and processing information into your memory is a vital part of being successful.

Dictionary.com's definition of the word success defines success as the attainment of wealth, position, honors, or the like. Nonetheless, there are many other definitions of success that do not list any of those traits. Success does not have anything to do with materialistic things but can be tied to broader concepts. The meaning of success is different from person to person. A homeless man living on the streets of Chicago getting just enough money from that whole day begging to buy some food at a local convenience store considers that a successful day, while success in the eyes of an Army sergeant may be getting his troops make it home safely for the holidays. In my eyes, success can have a variety of different meanings. I believe success comes within a person and their dreams. It doesn't have to mean you're the richest person or have the biggest house. I believe in a more humbling success. In other words, success displays one who has reached his own personal goals and is happy and content with the outcome of the chosen goals.

The most predominant misunderstanding of success is that it’s attained through wealth. We may often hear, “They have a big house, they must be successful.” Are these people successful?

In our society, everyone has their own interpretations of “success.” The Oxford English Dictionary defines success as “the attainment of an object according to one 's desire: now often with particular reference to the attainment of wealth or position” (Success). According to this definition, one must be affluent or materialistic to be considered successful. However, one does not need money to be considered successful in our society. Success is very subjective, so everyone has their own definition of it. Someone who is very wealthy might consider their fortune to be the highest level of success while someone who just received a promotion at work might consider that to be the highest level of success. Money is only able to buy physical objects which aren’t considered an achievement. Ultimately, reaching a goal, having a recognized career, and using the wealth for philanthropic work are good measures of success.

Success is a word that really hard to define, because everyone will have a different definition for this word. In fact, there no exact definition for the word "success". For a student, maybe the success means to pass all courses of the semester; for a business man, signing a importance contract and get a lot of money are successes; and for a president, leading the country to develop and make the people have a better life are success. For me, I also have my own definition for the word "success". When I was a kid, I really want to be a scientist, but after I become mature, my thinking has become more mature and my definition of success also

What is success? Is it the process of doing a task and receiving a positive result acceptable amongst the community, or is it simply achieving ones own personal goals? Success to me can mean many things. Although I am successful in school, that does not necessarily mean I will lead a successful life.
