Success; everyone wants it, few achieve it. Success is subjective, it could mean obtaining an education, being able to take over the family, achieving one’s life goals or making money because it is subjective, it can be wrong. A person may be successful, but depressed and have no sign of happiness in life, or he or she could make horrible decisions that destroy his or her path of success. Although one could be thought of as successful, it is impossible to achieve complete success in every aspect of life. One so focused on obtaining an education might let every other aspect of his or her life rot, resulting in failures. Its actual definition from the dictionary is, “the accomplishment of an aim or purpose”.

Some successful people are born with talent, and skills. As others may have to put in hard work to get to where they are. Every successful person is different, which means there is no definition for being successful. Being successful is made of many different categories. Many successful people are born with talents, put in hard work, and are different from everyone else.
A success is an aim that is achieved. After you achieve your goal you can reap the benefits of success. Sometimes you can gain wealth and fame. Taylor Swift and Oprah Winfrey, famous celebrities, are seen as successful. They have built a life-long legacy for themselves that ensures that they will be remembered forever. However, not all successes involve world renown. Success can be minuscule to some, but a life changing experience to others. The way I define success is a triumph.

In my eyes, success can have a variety of different meanings. I believe success comes within a person and their dreams. It doesn't have to mean you're the richest person or have the biggest house. I believe in a more humbling success. In other words, success displays one who has reached his own personal goals and is happy and content with the outcome of the chosen goals.

According to this definition, one must be affluent or materialistic to be considered successful. However, one does not need money to be considered successful in our society. Success is very subjective, so everyone has their own definition of it. Someone who is very wealthy might consider their fortune to be the highest level of success while someone who just received a promotion at work might consider that to be the highest level of success. Money is only able to buy physical objects which aren’t considered an achievement. Ultimately, reaching a goal, having a recognized career, and using the wealth for philanthropic work are good measures of success.

For a student, maybe the success means to pass all courses of the semester; for a business man, signing a importance contract and get a lot of money are successes; and for a president, leading the country to develop and make the people have a better life are success. What is success? Is it the process of doing a task and receiving a positive result acceptable amongst the community, or is it simply achieving ones own personal goals?
