A rule to live by. Well what is a rule to live by? This is the rule that suits you the best. It motivates you everyday, and when you are in a tough situation, you can call on it to help you. The rule that I use to live by is that when life gives you a problem, make the most out of it. This is very important to me. Life is never a walk in the park. There are always problems that everyone face, whether they are personal, or global. Many problems such as depression, hunger, or even disability hurt people every day. Many people let these problems take over their lives. But, when I face a problem, I remember this fundamental, and make the best out of the situation. Throughout my life, this moral has been very important to me.
Without this rule,

Even some of the richest most famous people face problems that they have to overcome. Look at Steve Jobs, who faced many problems in his life. One of his problems was that when he was the co-founder of Apple, they fired him at age 30. In a speech that Steve jobs recited at Stanford, he said “What had been the focus of my entire life was gone, and it was devastating,” (Jobs page 3). He knew this was his problem, because he did not know what to do next. Steve Jobs could have quit technology forever, but he came back and made a new company of his own. He made the most out of his problem. In his speech he said “I started a company named Pixar, and fell in love with an amazing woman who would become my wife. Pixar went on to create the world's first computer animated feature film, Toy Story, and is now the most successful animation studio in the world,” (Jobs page 3). This speech is a key example of this rule to live by. This rule is important, because even when you are facing a problem, the outcome could still be successful. This is a real life example of this rule to live by that everyone can relate to. This can tie into fear of failure. Being fired from Apple rattled Steve Jobs. But when we face a problem I think we all can say it takes us by surprise. This guideline can help us learn how to problem solve and make the most out of the
Many well known people have had to work hard to get where they are today. Walt Disney, Thomas Edison, Mary Kay, and so many more people have overcome adversity. Adversity might be one of the worst things at the moment, but it can push someone to a better situation later on in life. It might not always be easy, but it can be a good thing in the long run. These three people are a good example, because they have been through adversity and still came out on
For example, in the novel, autobiography, “The Glass Castle”, Jeannette is a little girl whom managed to overcome the hardships of her life. When she was three-years-old, she got herself burned due to the fact that her parents were making cook her own hot dogs; therefore, she learned that she wasn’t supposed to play with fire. At high school, her didn’t have any money to buy food nor to buy the supplies she required at her school, and whenever they did have money, Jeannette’s father would spend it all on liquor and her mom would spend on unnecessary things such as sculptures. Consequently, always living with the constant fear of knowing that she could end up like her parents, she decided to move to New York along with her siblings and started working at a newspaper company. Eventually, she studied at an university and ended up writing this novel; in addition, she wanted to share her experiences in order to inspire and encourage other people. Her message is clear, it doesn’t matter how hopeless your current state might seem, if you are will to succeed, you will definitely be able to achieve
When you succeed you need to faliure and successful person will tell you that they had failed, but those failures are what made them successful.People with success can lead to other success, this is shown with many people around the world in many different industries. This is mainly shown by the music industries, like other artist shout out or make song with unknown or not well know artist. They had overcome many obstacles an example is school, family problems, and negatively of review of loves ones and friends. One example of this is shown filmmaker Cole bennett’s,his failure can be instructive by teaching or helping others to become more successful than even him.
Some people may hold the idealized vision that success and ones status in life are largely determined by ones work, efforts, and abilities. The same people also believe that through hard work, anyone with the drive to accomplish ones objectives will succeed. Unfortunately, the reality of the world does not operate in that fashion. Success and failure are both products of chance and opportunities, like particles moving randomly, obeying nothing but the elusive laws of chaos dynamics. In this mysterious and chaotic atmosphere some are given opportunities to accomplish great things, while others of equal personal merits are met with no chances and are therefore doomed to wallow in mediocrity.
Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it. ~ Charles Swindoll
The most overall successful people in the world didn’t simply follow a straight path to success. As human beings, there are more than enough mountains to climb and fears to overcome. I have found myself in some of the most difficult situations at times and I somehow made my way out of them with tougher skin to work with. Through these seemingly insurmountable challenges, I persevered and have found that there is hardly any such thing as luck. There is only hard work and laziness.

We want to believe that people fail because they deserve to fail and people succeed because they earn it. The truth, however, is that not all hard work pays off, not all successful people deserve it, and good
He admits to not being afraid of loss because he knows that there is hope to fix it. He learns from his losses instead of being discouraged by them. Less than a year after becoming a millionaire was broke again. “My millions I had made by using brains, helped by luck. I had lost them by reversing the process” (198).
A great man once said, “In order to succeed, we must first believe we can”, this great man is Gandhi. I’m not sure how many times I’ve heard I can’t finish school, I can’t go after my dream, I can’t be who I believe I need to be because people like me don’t succeed. Maybe you personally believe that, maybe someone close to you has said that to you, or maybe it’s just the statistics in the environment you’re in. No one but you knows your situation, but it’s also your choice how you want to change that. Want some examples on who prospered? How about Liz Murray, Oprah Winfrey, and Marshall Mathers III? These three people grew up in situations where they should’ve thought, “maybe I won’t be getting out of here, and maybe I can’t go to college, or become famous.” I will be talking about these three people and how they achieved their goal. How they overcame the odds that were thrown at them, and show you that you too can succeed.
The push to keep training and maintaining the discipline of a Basketball player despite the initial rejection makes Michael Jordan iconic. He knew that the way to the top would not be easy, but he was determined to do all it takes to get there. This shows that no one who truly wants to make a mark should think that life is a bed of roses. There is something to overcome; there are disciplines to maintain if we want to get to great heights. We can overcome obstacles like a genius when we pattern our lives to do the things that geniuses do.
In this ever growing, rapid developing world as we can see today, there are many different successful leaders. As we know it, leaders are humans just like everyone else. How did they manage to stand out from the crowd? What did they do to achieve great success for an organization? As of all the successful leaders in the world, Steve Jobs is one of the successful leaders that managed to achieve great success for an organization. Therefore, Steve Jobs is the leader that I personally admire and would like to emulate.
Born in San Francisco in February 1955 to two unmarried graduate students, Steve was put up for adoption within a week of his birth. He was adopted by Paul and Clara Jobs, who soon after moved to Mountain View, California, a rural town Silicon Valley.
