Stephen Curry's Influence On What Makes People Successful

This tale tells the story of how two vastly different, yet successful individuals in John Wooden and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar altered each other’s lives for the better. There are many people in this world that are influential. These people fight for what they believe in, they go after what they want, and go past obstacles that they face. An individual that shows these traits would be the 40th president of the United States of America, Ronald Reagan. Ronald Reagan is influential because of his beliefs, he fought for what he thought could be a better America, he also went after what he wanted which was to become 40th president of the United States, he also went past obstacles in his life one obstacle that he faced was winning his 2nd term Ronald Reagan, our 40th president, made our country better.

There are many people that are influential in the world. Those people impact the world in a positive way by them being nice, donating things needed and making a difference. For example, an individual that shows these traits would be Alexandra Scott. Alex is influential because of her accomplishments, admirable qualities, and heroic acts.

John R. Wooden was an American basketball player coach and teacher. He taught philosophy which highly influenced his coaching style. Wooden created the Pyramid of Success, which took him seventeen years to fully construct. The pyramid works as building blocks, each row acts as a foundation for the one above it. Wooden’s pyramid of success consists of: industriousness, friendship, loyalty, cooperation and enthusiasm in the first row. The second row has: self-control, alertness, initiative, and intentness. Following this in the next row is: condition, skill, and team spirit. The two blocks above that row are: poise and confidence and the top block of the pyramid is competitive greatness. In order to fulfill the top block you must complete the steps below it (Perez, 2014).

A person with the right personality and attitude can influence other 's, and I feel I 'm a great example of that. My personal ambition to reach new heights has also motivated me to apply for the staff position on Skyblocky.​

Leadership is one of the biggest and most important characteristics a person can have in life. Some people believe that leadership is what deciphers a child from being an adult. I believe some people are born with leadership and some people observe and breath in the leadership qualities of mentors and become better people. Also, to be successful you either have to be very lucky or have a pure internal beliefs about yourself and only positive outlooks in life. John Wooden is who i have selected to try and form my leadership characteristics around. He is a well spoken and the most "sought out to be" coach in all of basketball. He had many victories on the court but he also formed his players into men with his wisdom.

What makes Stephen Curry an interesting person? Curry is an interesting person, because he is an athlete, a famous basketball player, and outgoing individual. He has an extremely active background, he stood up to conflicts and professional basketball made him famous. Because Curry is a strong, athletic, and smart person, our world has not been the same. His basketball has impacted our society in a great manner and will be remembered in the hearts of many for years to come.

Usually when people point to one’s success, they talk about grit, hard work, and a great underdog story. Sure, these factors play a part in one’s success. But, the reality is that there are many people with almost the same exact talent. As stated by Malcolm Gladwell, cultural outliers are the things that truly determine one’s success. External factors are worth examining because in most cases, success is based off advantages you were given from the start. In Jeremy lin’s case, his cultural influence, the ability to practice 10,000 hours, Intensive parents, and Perseverance are what contributed to his success in the NBA.

Education plays a very significant role when it comes to completing the identity that you would want to be in the future. It’s a cloth that we wear in order to make an appeal to everyone we meet on a daily basis. It serves as our identity that will carry your name in any establishment you may go.
