Choosing a restaurant can be difficult at times since Houston has a plethora to choose from. My family and I enjoy trying new restaurants to eat at, our personal preference is steakhouses. There is nothing better than going to a steakhouse to enjoy a big, juicy, mouthwatering cut of beef. Fogo De Chao and Outback steakhouse are two of our favorite restaurants to choose from; but, Fogo De Chao has always been preferable. Several years ago I went to one of those, but up north, and I was super excited to see that they have finally opened one in Miami! There is a competition between LongHorn and Outback. Ruth’s Chris began in 1965 when Ruth Fertel mortgaged her home and bought a steakhouse that had 60 seats called Chris Steak House in New Orleans (Peter & Donnelly, 2013). Twelve years later, in 1976, the restaurant suffered a kitchen fire and was destroyed. Ruth had the drive not to let that destroy what she loved. She purchased another property shortly after and called it Ruth’s Chri. One of her regular customers convinced her to allow him to franchise the restaurant, and by the 1980’s Ruth’s Chris was a global brand.

Next, the steak is put on a hot grill, a great sizzling soon is heard alerting to the wonderful aroma that will be wafting through the air. Very carefully, the steak is monitored and cooked for about ten minutes. The Ribeye is placed on a serving platter and allowed to rest. The seared grilled marks depicts a sight of readiness. The first effortless
