A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to visit both Boston and Providence on a college visit for my older sister. In Providence, we spent most of our time scoping out the campus at Brown on a very cold Sunday afternoon. While we were in a building attempting to warm up, my Mom found information on the summer courses for pre-college students offered at Brown. Although there were a variety of different programs to choose from, the Summer@Brown program stood out to me.
I began researching the programs before we even left the campus. The Summer@Brown program seemed like the perfect fit for me because of its interesting courses and campus opportunities. The first programs I had looked into were online classes or on-site courses in Costa Rica or

Tulane has everything I would need to learn and study hard to achieve my passions. Through my dedication and outgoing nature, I can also give back to Tulane because I am committed to helping others and contributing my ideas. One of the reasons I fell in love with Tulane is that the school encourages majoring in different fields within different schools. When a Tulane’s admission officer visited my school, she spoke of a student who minored in dance and was on the pre-med track. Diversifying one's academic pursuits provides huge benefits because I desire to learn about my surroundings from various lenses to gain a large range of knowledge. I look forward to exploring my options at Tulane. Academically, the program I desire to pursue is Neuroscience. Since Tulane is ranked highly in neuroscience, I would be
Mrs. New, an advisor from the program, informed me that even though my grade point average is high, I still need to expand my college resume so that any prospective colleges will know that I am a well-rounded student. The program opened
Texas A&M Corpus Christi’s location as well as the atmosphere attracted me to the campus. I grew up in a small town and when I visited the campus I felt at home. I was in awe when I toured the nursing department and observed the demonstrations. I would like to apply for the biomedical science, nursing or health science program and pursue a career as a Physician Assistant.
Curiosity has always driven me toward new experiences, such as attending school in Chicago to become a first- generation college student. I am thrilled to fulfill my curiosity and apply for a summer research program where I can begin preparing for my future career.

Over the years, I had heard about Wake Forest simply from living in North Carolina, from hearing about their sports teams, and from knowing several people who attended Wake Forest. As I began my college search throughout high school, looking for a college that fit what I was looking for, I kept running into Wake Forest. I decided that I really wanted to apply to Wake Forest because, after looking into the school more and talking to some friends that currently attend, it seemed exactly like the college that I would love and be honored to go to. Wake Forest has impressed me with its academics, its campus and community, and its small and personal learning environment. Getting an education and spending a few very important years of my life at Wake
Middlesex community college has impacted me tremendously as a scholar and as a human being. Middlesex community college provides a friendly environment which encourages me and other students to be creative. I met new friends. I had the chance to help the community by volunteering through the student and engagement office. Most important I had the chance to express myself and sharing my experience and story as a human being. The faculty, staff, and counselors are extremely helpful. They work with us to make our goals are achievable. I glad that I did the decision in attending Middlesex community college.
I am writing in hopes of being granted an appeal to live off campus for the Fall semester of my Junior year. Though the privilege of living off campus is typically reserved for students who are rising Seniors, under these certain circumstances I would like to ask to be given an exception to this rule.
As a junior in highschool, I find that volunteering in the community is vital to supplying the needs of the people around us, and being able to participate in A-HEC of a Summer seems like a great way to get involved in the community and involved in what career I might follow. I am currently interested in dermatology because I enjoy seeing the removal of blackheads and cysts, but I know that is not all that it entails. With this program, I might be able to realize if this path is right for me. I want to gain a wider scope of what it takes to work in a hospital with different types of patients. Not only can I benefit from surrounding myself with the standards of a work environment, but I can ultimately use my time and energy to improve the lives
I was born in the Philippines, but came here with my family when I was 2 years old.
During fall break I had a great opportunity to travel with GEAR UP and experience colleges in the mainland. Being that I live in Hawaii I am not able to experience the different types of colleges all that well. However, in California I was able to grasp the concept that there are different types colleges. The trip opened my mind to all the

It is my absolute pleasure to recommend Nicole Truong to your Doctor of Pharmacy Program. With her extensive pharmacy experience, coupled with her personable personality and compassion, I feel she will excel in pharmacy school and make an exceptional future pharmacist. Even though she possesses knowledge and ability beyond the typical pharmacy technicians and students, Nicole continues to challenge herself to learn new things on a daily basis, a trait mandatory for a pharmacist.
My interest in attending Tulane above all other Universities revolves around my desire to truly grow as an individual over the next four years of my life by genuinely taking a step towards making myself uncomfortable. Up until now, by virtue circumstance, I have played things very safe; growing up in the same house with the same friends in the same town with the same problems for the entirety of my years on this planet. That being said, I have always maintained a very ambitious and realized understanding of what it is that I want to accomplish out of my life. I find Tulane to be the influx of cultures, music, language, and mystery that I am hoping to experience.
